Honest question here....if you hate the ownership of the team that much, one that has zero chance of changing hands anytime soon, why do you still follow the team?

Honest answer here... I was a fan of this team before Jerry and his idiot son even wanted to own the Cowboys and I will be a fan when Jerry and his son are both wormfood.

I don't think anyone is saying being a fan of Jerry. I don't know many fans that just love their owner lol. But it does seem odd one would torture themselves. At some point you have to ask yourself why are you a fan.

The director of player personnel should know how to pronounce a players name. The owner of the Dallas Cowboys should know who Chris Godwin is when you are going to Tampa for a playoff game.

He does sit in on the coaches meetings. Or did you forget that? What is his excuse? He wants to be involved in everything. Well then you better expect criticism when you dont know everything.

After Jerry's latest comments about the Eagles and Rams, I don't see how anyone can defending them. And honestly, I do not recall anyone defending them in this forum. They are taking a lot of heat on Twitter too.

I honestly think Jerry is past his "sell by" date. He needs to take some time off, like the rest of his life. But honestly, Junior isn't any better. In fact he may be worse. If Jerry is dipping his toes into the dementia pool, maybe in an off moment he will sell the Cowboys to someone else.

Sadly that might be our only hope.

I don’t defend them. many of our failures and most of them go right back to Jerry and Stephen and the leadership they lack. However it seems like a weird time to bash them when you look at their total body of work. There’s been years and eras where we could kill them relentlessly and they’d deserve it. I mean so many dumb decisions.

They’ve drafted pretty game good of late. The free agency approach sucks and Stephen is way too cheap but I mean technically if you take a step back from the ledge and come to the realization of how fall the cowboys have fallen from grace and forget the “super bowl or bust” mantra which is nothing more than a bumper sticker for us at this post than the cowboys coming off back to back postseason and 12 win seasons are in a better spot than they’ve been for a long time because of how bad we’ve actually been.

I don’t mind anyone who knocks the jones but I’d just say to anyone…be consistent. You can’t be hyped all season because of how the team played and think they are a contender and then if they fall short say “Jerry sucks”. If he’s sucked as bad as you thought the team wouldn’t be winning games or looked good enough for you to buy into the hype. No one is happy with mediocrity but the reality is we’ve been so bad that you have to look at things through a different lens and this next year is huge. 3 consecutive post season years is better than it would have been in decades…..now we need to win multiple playoffs games as well.

Hilton made the biggest catch of our season. In a pivotal game. On Christmas Eve. The entire world of sports knew his name. It isnt some rookie either. Hes been in the league for years. You know who doesnt know his name? Our Director of Player Personnel.

Dumb and Dumber are Football 'Business' guys not real Football X and O guys. In other words they know how to market the team to keep fans coming back. What they do not apparently know how to do is construct a roster that can go anywhere in the playoffs or contend for a championship. Some posters on here may point to their success at drafting, well from what I know they have this guy named McClay that's supposed to be pretty good at that. What we really need is an honest to God REAL NFL GM that knows what he's doing. Not Jerry the business man playing his NFL GM game.
