All that means is that they are not going to fire him this week. Until they do decide to fire him it makes no sense to undermine him.

Sports figures are taught how to speak politically.

This political speak has been working great over the years. Be nice to have a front office who applies a little pressure and a coach who can handle it, instead of the nutless wonder. Statements like this are really just sad and pathetic at this point.

Even more pathetic. Coddling the HC.

actually that is the way almost any larger organization would operate.
very few people would undermine those under them unless they have already asked security to take them to the exit

It's become pretty pathetic after 13 years. Maybe after a few seasons. Larger organizations will say shape up or it's time to move on. You see a team with confidence? Stems from BS like this. It's a garbage quote from a garbage front office.

Anyone who thinks Garrett will be fired during the season is an idiot or delusional.
What's to be gained by that? We are 3-3, still 2 consecutive losses from where we were last season before starting our run, and he wasn't fired at 3-5.
Who are you going to hire that's worth a damn in October?
It is NOT going to happen!

I agree. It will take a major collapse for Jerry to fire Garrett during the season.

He will let this season play out and then he will fire him after this season ends.

no responsible manager will do that.

Your not undermining, your applying pressure and hope he responds. Coddling him simply is no longer working. It's complete crap. Everyone on the planet is reading between the lines. So spit out what you really want to say. Sparing his feelings in the event the team falls apart is pretty laughable. Managers all over the world apply pressure and expect results. It's what managers do. This marriage of convenience and quotes like this have just become a joke. Might want to switch up the strategy.

Just in case any of you are still holding out hope that Stephen is soooooo much wiser than Jerry.

The cowboys are still leading the division. Do you want him to castrate his coach in public?

undermining the coach while he is still the coach is make other coaches not want to work for you.

I want someone like Randy White or Keith Brooking to tell the players. "LOSING IS NOT AN OPTION"!! …"Lose and I will beat the crap out of you"!!… This team has no fear.Nothing happens,WE all are just a bunch of buddies, family who have barbecue after practice.....We need someone to knock some heads in around here.

Jerry Jones:
“I’m going to be very trite: I was a lot happier with what he had done the first three games than what’s happened the last three games,”

The guy makes 6 million a year. Plenty of coaches will suck it up.

you want the best coaches who have lots of options.
the season is already shot, so what happens really matters little unless you can hire belicheat
so may as well tank and get the new hc a better draft
