It will end like it always does. Jerry Jones will talk about people getting "uncomfortable", being "taken to the woodshed" and the real issues with how this organization will be denied as he speaks to the man in the mirror.
He got the job as oc because he has a Princeton education and Is a former Dallas Cowboys qb, jj thought he was getting the next Sean Payton and in 2007 he seemed to be correct. After that year he got hc offers but it seemed the dc of the league got film on him and this offense hasnt been the same since.
"I think in our organization everybody is taking responsibility, not just Wade," Stephen Jones said. "He does. He takes responsibility. The coaching staff takes responsibility. The players take it. We all take it. We're a team, we're an organization, and when we fall short we accept it as a team."
Sack was a give up by McCown. He made no plays. He was constantly over running the play and when he wasn't Bushrod was handling him.
Sack was not a give up. QB had nowhere to go and Ware was hot on his heels. I mean, I saw no other DLs there to collect a sack. Ware was the only DL applying pressure. I don't agree that he was getting handled but whatever.
He has a point but he needs to call his daddy and himself.
I agree...so many blame them for the losses anyway, why not? Was it Parcells that said "players play the game"?? Over simplification, but it's pretty lowbrow to blame the lousy play of players on guys who want to win at any cost. Then again, I heard the same crap in the heyday when the three Lombardis showed up in the 90's. It's only their fault if it goes bad. Crummy draft picks? That's Jones. Good ones? That's Coach ___. Losing season? Not lackluster performance - that's Jones' fault too. Paid for a marque name to help the team? Jones fault for mortgaging the future of the team if they aren't #1 in the league at their position. Don't go to the playoffs? Jones again...nevermind the other 25+ teams that didn't go either...that makes Jones the absolute worst GM/Owner in the league...he should fire himself for the good of the team
Lol he calls out Sean Lee? Of all the people to call out he calls out the only guy that lays his body out for the team game in game out? WOW
Lol total give up sack. No doubt about it. It was his signature meaningless sack.Sack was not a give up. QB had nowhere to go and Ware was hot on his heels. I mean, I saw no other DLs there to collect a sack. Ware was the only DL applying pressure. I don't agree that he was getting handled but whatever.
So someone finally does something we've all wanted, and says something we've all been saying, and we talk bad about him? I'm glad Jones said those things, I just wish he would say it to the offense too. There were plenty of games this year where the defense saved the offenses' *** by adding to the point total with defensive touch downs, turnovers putting the offense right in scoring position etc, but everything's on the defense.
Lol he calls out Sean Lee? Of all the people to call out he calls out the only guy that lays his body out for the team game in game out? WOW
He was afraid to get too much of the secret sauce on themMaybe Stephen should have done his part and gone down to the field to breath his hot liquored up breath on the players.
Lol he calls out Sean Lee? Of all the people to call out he calls out the only guy that lays his body out for the team game in game out? WOW
Hey, I don't mind that he mentioned Sean Lee with the rest of the others. Everyone is on notice. Not just a handful of guys. Everyone.
Well guess what????? He's right. Depending on a guy that can't stay on the field is kind of like marrying a stripper. Mighty fine to look @........But in the end....It's just gonna break your heart
