I saw a report that indicated he was looking in the neiboghood of $16 a year in salary.

Initially, I was "yes please." But after reading the story behind his sudden release, I'm not sure the Cowboys can address everything they need to this offseason and have a guy wanting the type of money he is wanting at the age of 29.

He turned 28 in December.

Jim Miller and Pat Kirwan were talking about this last night. Said he will not get this. Said his contract may look like that, but when you get to the "real money", he will probably be around 10/11M.

They also said he couldn't start today for the Bronco's with Talib and harris and they only make 8/9 million, so they don't know why someone would pay him 16 when he is not better than those two.

Just their thoughts of course.

The panthers just let him go because of his contract demands, this shouldnt surprise anyone. Maybe he ends up going back to carolina with his tail between his legs.

That's pretty silly.

All Pro CBs don't settle when they hit the open market at 28, which almost never happens

Over the first 14 weeks of the season, Norman held DeAndre Hopkins, Mike Evans, TY Hilton, Dez Bryant, and Julio Jones to a combined 9 receptions for 89 yards.

For the season, opposing quarterbacks had a passer rating of 54.0 when throwing at Norman, the lowest rating allowed by all NFL corners

I don't blame Stephen.. Big ticket free agents besides QB, rarely make a difference.
