These are the same excuse makers who tell us that the Cowboys can do anything they want when it comes to cap management and we can sign who bet we want to and are not hampered by the sack

I don't think this year's free agent class was very good. Unlike last year with Vernon and Jenkins to NYG, I didn't see any real difference makers. No need to repay for mediocre talent.

100% of the problem is a bit strong. I don't even cash a pay check signed by Jerry Jones.

Their worries about their teams might be the same worries we have. Its not sabotage, its just knowing the other team and adjusting what your doing because you know them.

Frederick was a secret, and that was a late round draft pick. We have another late round draft pick this year, hopefully this is a smokescreen.

yes ignore all the other problems, and blame the defense.
if your down 21-0 early, sure that is on the defense, but the 0 means the offense wasnt doing its part too.
If dallas scores a td instead of settling for a fg at end, dallas wins that game.

Also both GB and Atlanta, did not have a great defense, I cant say GB defense is better than dallas, and Atlanta did look better but
nothing special.
yet GB beat dallas , and atlanta went to the SB. how do you explain that?

I'm sure Dallas has offensive and defensive player who will be on their board for the 1st pick and it is possible that an offensive player is taken before they reach for a player who is not of the same caliber. Jones stating that defense is an area they are focusing in on in the draft is common sense. I did not hear him say they were targeting any individual player in this upcoming draft.

IIRC, we hinted pretty directly that we were taking OL that season after Romo's extension. Nobody thought it would be Frederick because Mel Kiper said he was a third round pick. That was where the surprise came in. And everybody hated it at the time and was wrong about that, too.

What I'm saying if we come out and say we want a 'war daddy' then stephen comes out and says basically the same thing, its a telegraph, thats all. We want a DE with the first pick. Maybe a DB, thats it.

Noone knew what direction we were going with Frederick. I would rather go into the draft for total BPA, then people knowing exactly who we will pick. You can say we can go BPA at DE or DB..............but thats not BPA, thats need based.
