Dear Jerra and Stevie: bake Dez a cake. It could not hurt.
And a drink from the furry cup.
Dear Jerra and Stevie: bake Dez a cake. It could not hurt.
So Funny, I was about to post this same thing.
This Organization really had **** to cheer for. Dez comes along, he puts us on the map. The same way Romo did when he took over as QB.
Dez has been a part of it he has also been a apart of 3 years of 8-8. A lot of guys have made this team relevant including guys like Tyron Smith, Ron Leary, Travis Frederick, and Zack Martin. Without those guys none of the star players are going to do anything. I think the world of Dez but he is not putting us on any map
Actually a pretty steady reply by Stephen.
I disagree, he was there during the 8-8 years yes, but I didnt see anyone on the sidelines including Witten, Ware, or Romo, snapping like Dez does. This season we saw it from Witten and Romo. Dez brings out the passion in other players. Hes a lot more to this franchise then just a WR

Dez does have passion yet we were still 8-8. I want Dez to remain but he is not some sole reason this team won a lot of guys including that group up front were very big in why this turn around happen. They make it happen because they give the QB time, they give the RB room to run without that group all that passion means nothing. There are a lot of guys that are the reason and when someone tries to make it out as if well it was all Dez that is a load of BS

You mean like the time Witten grabbed Dez and shouted at him to quit acting like an idiot? Pay close attention to Dez sideline rants. No one is listening to him. I like Dez but certainly wouldn't break the bank on him. I certainly don't think he's the heartbeat of the team either.
He's a great player with maturity issues.

Agree. Romo is the heart of this team IMO.

I am not saying he is the only reason we are where we are. I also recall the St Louis game when we were down by 21 and Dez was on the sideline pumping up the troops, including Romo, who won that game again?
actions speak louder than words.
pay the man who brought life back into this dead organization.
Sorry I don't buy into the player/cheerleader deal. These guys are pros, they know what it takes to win with out a player having to pump them up.
Again usually no ones listening to him during his pump up sessions.
Well im going to assume you are part of the let Dez walk crowd, and for the record, Romo, Murray, Witten, Williams have all said everything he says on the sidelines is positive, Romo actually said at one point its "laughable" for people to think otherwise. Dez is a leader on this team regardless of what you choose to believe
