His receiving group loves him. They are tons of tweets of the group hanging out, which leads me to believe that he is close with them. I didn't see that incident the way you did. I didn't see anyone trying to avoid him. I guess you see what you want to see.
Well I am sure he has some friends, and some that dont care for him, but he is now
a big money guy , 13 mil a year , and he needs to be the star WR he is paid to be.
He would have been... If he had not broken his foot and then came back too early.... Lordy lord
how did he break the bone in his foot?? That is a big mystery.
I looked for it in the game and could not see where or how.
I wonder if it was dunking balls over the goalposts when he first came to training camp,
Then they said it was hamstring.
You really going to argue that in our Coryell offense it wasn't a timing route?
Your characterization of Vela's point is poor. I'll quote him directly and let him speak for himself:
That Vela article was just the first one I found. Let's find more then.

I suppose Drew Pearson, Troy Aikman and Dez himself don't know what they are talking about?
Please explain to me where any of this proved Dez can't run routes over the middle? The example Pearson gives is a mistake on a hitch. That has no bearing on a drag route and he basically says he hasn't seen Dez running other routes.
Strawman. I didn't say that. I said he came in with a limited route tree and while he has improved markedly he is not yet done.
I don't like how he acted up for the camera. Came out with no shirt on and in his undies reminded me of old wwf/wwe skits.
Wow... What a conspiracy theory. Grasping at straws. He did make it through all of training camp and caught 5 passes for 48 yards (against Giants) before getting hurt. We get it. You don't like the player. Let's infuse some reality into these post. Next thing you know, you will tell me that Armstrong never walked on the moon.
I dont dislike dez, I dont care for the way he acts sometimes, but mainly I just dont think he was worth
the big contract.
Maybe he will prove me wrong, I hope so.
Last year he was pretty much a dud, so curious to see how he does this year.
And if you find any video of how he hurt his foot, or any real info on how and when, please post it.
Dez is always spent by the fourth quarter.
He spends so much energy jaw-jacking with the other team and stomping up and down the bench between series, he's exhausted in the end.
It doesn't help that he's not the crispest of route runners either. Without a full tank, he's a rather easy cover late in games.
Poor guy, just so emotional and invested, just can't make it through a game without wearing himself out. Is that what we're going with? Yes, I've heard yelling at Josh Norman and telling him how great you are can be really exhausting stuff. LOL. Give me a break. Dez gets winded because Dez is not in good shape. Period.
Also, if you actually paid attention to what Troy said he mentioned that Dez brings up some good points, such as when it's 3rd and 3, why is Dez running 18 yard routes in single coverage and why is he not the first option? The implication being, they aren't using Dez properly...
Nowhere did Troy say he couldn't run a variety of routes..
I don't dispute Dez has a limited route tree, I argue he has a limited route tree because the coaches, not because of his lack of ability to run routes. Like I said, Dez made a killing on the drag the short time Callahan was OC, particularly from what I remember, the Denver game.. Relying on Dez to make difficult catches, while arguing at the same time his route tree is limited because he can't handle it is pretty absurd.
They have gone away from it, when BC offense was moving towards it. Garrett's offense attacks the sidelines. It was the same with TO, who made his living off the slot and motion in other offenses..
