Stephen Jones wants to see Dez Bryant in better shape

I would like to see Dez match up against him (fully healthy). Should be a battle. It still depends on how much pressure Washington can generate. If they have a hard time getting to Romo, I give the edge to Bryant.

Nope, Josh will eat his lunch. Dez will let Josh get in his head and then he will be toast.

“He’s done an outstanding job and been committed to being around and I think that’s only getting better. That’s what we need of him, is to get well and do his rehab and then get in great shape,” Jones said. “I think one of the tough things about last year for Dez, he plays with such energy, that with the contract dispute, if you will, he wasn’t around, which is business, and consequently he probably wasn’t in his best shape going into the season and then you start to add the injuries when players aren’t in shape and they continued on through training camp and then on into the season and we ended up not having him much last year, so if he can get his rehab done and get himself in top condition, then I think we’ll see the same Dez that we saw two years ago.”

Stephen needs to lose weight.

What evidence do you have? I think you are minimizing what type of player he is when healthy. I think some people dislike him due to him being 1. passionate (looks angry on the sideline) 2. Behavior that occurred in his early 20's. His team loves him (from every interview) and he is the emotional heart beat of this team. The good news is that we will find our second week of the season how good Josh Norman is and whether Dez fades.

Dez has always been mentally weak and Josh is the biggest mind game player in the league. It's a challenge for Josh to "break" those diva WRs. Dez is definitely in that category.

Have a feeling Norman will have a down year. Odell was beat up mentally but still had a good game against him physically. Plus, we will see how good he is without that Carolina defense around him. I'll save this conversation for game two

Second game is on Thanksgiving Day. Short week for Romo spells doom for Dez and Co.

Sorry, but your Commanders just found an acorn during an empty season. Hope you enjoyed it.

Norman has had one good season. There's a reason Carolina gladly let him leave when he wanted to be paid like something he never has been. Product of a system and a pass rush. He'll get exposed like ALL Commander FREE AGENTS always do. Haynesworth, Bruce Smith, Jason Hatcher, Stephen Bowen, Pierre Garcon.....you'd think they'd have learned by now.

I dont think they love him, I think most dislike him and find him irritating.
When he hurt his foot, after the game he was outside lockeroom
greeting players, and the looks they gave him , and how they tried to ignore him
made me think he is not well liked.
The only person who was friendly to him was jerry when he walked up.

In interviews, they will always say good things about other players.

Yes and if not used in the same way, he wont be as effective as in carolina.

I don't like how he acted up for the camera. Came out with no shirt on and in his undies reminded me of old wwf/wwe skits.

His receiving group loves him. They are tons of tweets of the group hanging out, which leads me to believe that he is close with them. I didn't see that incident the way you did. I didn't see anyone trying to avoid him. I guess you see what you want to see.
