I mean those are mostly JAGs. Barr has been so-so. Peters is a backup. Watkins is a total JAG, non-difference making DT. Basham is a mediocre edge player. Washington hasn't played a down and was a mediocre WR to begin with.

Hooker and Kearse look like nice signings. The rest are just mediocre low ceiling, low cost type FAs that the Cowboys seem to love.

that was true for awhile. They weren’t very good at it for a stretch. But that’s not the case with todays team! Some of these guys are playing very well.

The best signing was Hooker who solved a major problem at FS IMO. Fowler has also been a nice signing sliding into that rotation at DE.

But at hte end of the day, the FO signs low risk, cheap guys to hope they hit on a couple. Which they did with guys like Hooker and Fowler. But the other thing here is that any signings you make in midseason are just gonna be JAGs anyway so I can't really get on them if they don't sign anyone. Jones saying we could still add in FA is kind of a canard because even he knows there ain't likely to be much out there in FA at this point during the season.

Well, OBJ is a unique case. He would be an interesting signing if they did that.

So you think they should sign super stars that rarely work out, they signed starters , depth through free agency and all of them contribute. If you could just find people that contribute just anywhere all teams would do it.. lol

Right they weren't good at it. They got burned a couple times, bit fornthe people that say they don't use free agency is flat wrong, they don't sign big name guys they sign value guys.
They also sign their own free agents .
