So you think they should sign super stars that rarely work out, they signed starters , depth through free agency and all of them contribute. If you could just find people that contribute just anywhere all teams would do it.. lol

No, I think there is a wide chasm between signing bargain bin guys and then paying for superstars in FA. You guys love to make it an either/or situation when in fact, there are many mid-level guys out there that can help fill a hole each year that we seemingly avoid waiting on the cheaper guys.

But at this point, the team is what the team is. They are going to have to roll with what they have and hope that Gallup finds his stride and Washington is at least somewhate productive and Brown is healthy at WR. As for their weakness - the run defense - it is what it is. Have to hope Hankins helps a lot and Quinn can figure out ways to try to limit teams running on us.

I wouldn't expect any signings. Maybe OBJ, which could be a great signing or a waste of money.

There you have it folks. At the end of the year when the Cowboys are home for the SB, he'll utter the same words .."We were close."

Stephen Jones doesn't give two poops about improving the team. If he did he wouldn't have to go on the radio and waste air time trying to justify why they sat on their butts and didn't do a damn thing. They won't start caring until the cash flow slows up.
It doesn’t matter that I disagree with you we have opinions. I think SJones is trying to provide the team with players and it didn’t work out. I’m glad theeeee Cooook deal fall through. We’ll see how the season plays out.h

He just signed Hankins which is a huge help to the team. You just like to complain.

Most mid level guys get paid like top players and the top players get Massively overpaid.
They rather overpay their own than some outsiders.

“Trades aren’t the only way to acquire players”

yes we know that. What you didn’t say is that you don’t utilize the other resources to acquire players either.
He would have been better off just saying that we didn't feel the need to add a WR at this point.

Right they weren't good at it. They got burned a couple times, bit fornthe people that say they don't use free agency is flat wrong, they don't sign big name guys they sign value guys.
They also sign their own free agents .

I don’t always agree with their home grown approach, but they found some good value on outside free agents and the Gregory situation definitely worked out for the best.

Signing bottom of the barrel free agents isn’t participating in free agency. Try again. Go back to coaching

If you sign anybody in free agency you've participating in free agency. ..lol
Do you know how dumb you sound?
