Stephen: We can win this thing with Dak

Breaking News!!!!!!

Owner of team with a pro bowl QB under contract believes they can win with him!

Dak Prescott CAN NOT beat 4 consecutive playoff teams.
REGARDLESS of play caller or team personnel support.

I say again. REGARDLESS.

So, I disagree with the owner's son.
Or do I kinda agree, he mentioned not winning playoff games?

LOL

No lies were told. You can win with dak, I have no issues with that. The better question is how. If you extend the guy you might as well go all in this year, and actually take advantage of the low cap hit.

What I can’t see is keeping things status quo again and expecting different results. It’ll be 10-12 wins with a playoff loss as soon as we take on an elite team.
Dallas is bout to have a ton of cap following this yr. I think in 2024 they have only like 120 mil on the cap. They're easily gonna have like 120mil in cap. And even more because this still takes into account Elliot is still on the team. So once they release him they'll have more, and this is most likely Lawrence last yr in Dallas probably released next yr or a paycut. Wouldn't be suprised to see like 130-135mil in caproom next yr

We supposed to pretend the Eagles best player and runner up in the MVP voting didn't play?

We supposed to ignore that, Ken?

The Eagles went 0-2 without Hurts. The Cowboys went 4-1 without Dak.

That's the difference.
The Eagles played the hapless Giants and non forward pass throwing SF.

That is the difference.

Also...the pretend "MVP" didn't play defense all year.

lol...I have no idea what you are trying to convey. What is with all the question marks, you confused again?

So, why did you brag about Dak beating the eagles? I mean, Dak can throw a forward pass, but it's usually to the opponent.
You asked a question and I offered answers that you can't understand.

It is typical.

How did he beat the Eagles if he can't throw a forward pass then? You make no sense.

I think Stephen has been sipping daddy’s JWB! Why else would he even think to compare the Cowboys to the Chiefs? It’s not even close…teams aren’t defined by won-loss records during the season; it’s what a team does in the playoffs that define them.
Good teams make their own luck and overcome adversity; they don’t look to shift blame to a bad call, or a poorly executed play in a crucial situation that ultimately leads to a poor outcome.
And what the hell is a “click”? I did notice he didn’t say that the FO has to manage the personnel and team 10 clicks better…

Never mind...lol. Dak can throw a forward pass.

"I've got all the faith in the world we can win this thing with Dak," Jones said from the scouting combine in Indianapolis."

Why?

"Because we know him. We know what he's about. His leadership skills are undeniable. Impeccable work ethic," Jones said. "Other than he hadn't won some key playoff games, he's everything you want in a quarterback. From the day he walked in the door, he's won a lot of games. We just got to get over the hump."

Prescott is set to count $49.2 million against the 2023 salary cap. He is signed through 2024. If the Cowboys restructure Prescott's contract this year, they can create up to $22 million in cap space. With an extension, they could create even more room.

"We've got to have a plan to ultimately extend Dak," Jones said.
But can we win it with you, Stephen?

I hope you’re right but you have to do something with Dak, most likely a extension at a new AAV north of $50M. Youve got 3 players who will be asking for record setting money at their positions in lamb, diggs, parsons. Anyone they elect to restructure will cost more next year. Then you also have any cap hits you take on from free agents you resign in LVE, Wilson, etc plus anyone actual signing they elect to make in free agency this offseason.

I would be very surprised to see 130+ in cap space as it’s going to dwindle quick once the cowboys start making moves.

I’m not opposed at all to the cowboys making some tough decisions to eat big cap numbers this year instead of kicking the can down the road, it just doesn’t seem like their style though.

I can deal with the losing. I promise.

Just please, both of you….SHUT your mouths!!!

That’s all I ask.

What happens if they extend Dak and next year the cowboys Dak is very average again and finish again behind thr eagles and lost the first game in the playoffs? What will be the excuse then ?
