Sterling Moore signs w/ Bucs

Someone needs to tell the Bucs our defensive players really aren't that good before they wreck their team

So he'll be available next year when they cut him..ala Michael Johnson and Anthony Collins...lol. He was good depth, but he can be replaced.

The Bucs are becoming Cowboys lite, like the Saints a few years back.

I believe Dallas will be drafting a CB early in the draft.

Man they're picking us apart although Sterling wasn't a stud. He played his part and most of the time.

Not unexpected....regardless...sorry to see him go:(

Where would we have been without him last year?

Not sure why they never seemed to like this guy. I remember he outplayed all the competition two years ago in the preseason and was released in favor of some guys who ended up getting cut shortly after. Then I believe he was cut one other time before being a big part of the defense last year. And even last year he was our second most consistent CB. I'm not upset because I don't think he was that great to begin with. I just don't understand why he keeps proving himself on the field and keeps getting the short end of the stick. I wish him the best in Tampa. He's earned it.

Guess the Bucs are talking the place of the Bengals when it comes to signing our leftovers...

Good to see Moore land back on his feet, did a solid job for Dallas while here and didn't get the credit he deserve at times during the season

He was a good player when the field was dry, rue-age...

It's puzzling. He's exactly the kind of guy who you want as your third or fourth corner option that can step into a starting role in a pinch if need be. But he can't seem to stick anywhere.

Curious as to what they paid him. Moore is limited in what he does, but he makes up for it by being sound fundamentally and is a very, very low risk player. He will always allow a completion in favor of a sure tackle. Which is good in a pinch - he won't get beat long, but he will allow you to dink & dunk all day.
