Notice in my last comment I said "possibly".

We do know that Steve McNair was selling his house. Just speculating, but I suspect that maybe he and his wife were all but done, but needed to go through the legal process to get the divorce.

This is the current home of murdered Titan's quarterback Steve McNair. The home is located at 2430 Bear Road in the Green Hills area of Nashville, TN 37215. The home is currently for sale for $2,999,990. Steve McNair's home was originally listed for sale on April 11th, 2009 for $3,800,000. It appears that the price of the home was dropped $800,000 today, the same day he was found slain in a downtown Nashville condo. The MLS system is not showing exactly when the price was dropped leading us to believe that this price adjustment actually occurred today.

True.

However, unless these are just bad photos, no matter how anyone tries to spin it, Steve McNair could have done way better than that.

If I am a former NFL Quarterback and "possibly" fooling around on my wife, im gonna at least get a dime piece for my troubles.

Besides, she doesn't even look 20 in those photos, she looks older than that.

Thanks Dakota. Looks aren't everything but makeup is a wonderful thing for most women. Add to the mix one part personality and one part flirty situation... *POOF* instant side lay. Just add water.

Wasn't exactly hiding his "friendship".

That's what makes me think that he and his wife were probably done.

However, divorce filings are public record and the media would have reported it if they had filed for divorce.

Don't know.

Report: Kazemi's Family Thinks A Third Person Was Involved

Posted by Mike Florio on July 5, 2009 2:54 PM
The family of the woman who was found dead with former NFL quarterback Steve McNair has spoken out regarding the situation.

And despite the implicit message from police that 20-year-old Sahel Kazemi shot McNair repeatedly before shooting herself once, Kazemi's niece says that the girl was not capable of such actions.

"She was one, young girl who had so many dreams that they never came true," said Sepidah Salmani, according to Kate Howard of the Tennessean. "She would never kill anyone, ever. Or anything. Not even a little bug. I want people to know that."

Salmani, who was raised as Kazemi's sister, also said that McNair had told Kazemi that he soon would be divorcing his wife.

"That's why she was like, 'OK, now you're divorcing. We can date,'" Salmani said. "He told her, it was going to be finished, the whole divorce was going to be done, two weeks from yesterday. . . .

"All she was trying to do was have fun. Nothing else. I believe there is a third person involved."

Autopsies are being conducted on Sunday, and the findings could go a long way toward determining whether Kazemi indeed shot herself -- or whether someone else pulled the trigger and made it look like she committed suicide after killing McNair.

Holy crap! I knew this girl. She used to wait on us at D&B at the Opry Mills Mall. We just called her Shelly.

I thought she lived on Bell RD here in Nashville.

How weird!
It always feel worse when you know one of the principle acters in the tragedy.

You hear this kind of thing all the time. Parents that say there's no possible way their child could have done something like that. Hell, I hear it all the time and their child has a criminal history a mile long with all sorts of fun things on it and they still claim their child's innocence.

I feel bad for her parents.

Better based on what? Looks? There's always going to be someone who looks better.

Relationships are more than just looks.

I read somewhere that this woman was energetic and fun-loving. Maybe that's what attracted McNair to her. I know I've been attracted to women who wouldn't be considered "the best looking" by many men's standards, but they're beautiful enough to me maybe because of their personality, their charm, their lips, their eyes, etc.

Looks, while important, really isn't the end all be all. Otherwise, men who are married to gorgeous women would never cheat. And we know that's never happened. ;)

This is some real talk. Look there are so many hot women out there but what kind of personality do they have. Are they smart? Do they have a stable mindset? Do they have a plan for their future? All that factors in when dating a woman or man for that matter. To me if they aren't smart and have a zero personality I don't care how great they look they aren't for me.

So he was having an affair and his lover murdered him? This is more sad and twisted than ever.

Hypothetically, "If" I were fooling around on my wife with a 20 year old, "I am" not concerned about how smart she is, what her future plans are or how energetic she is.

When looking for a wife, the above are extremely important, but when it comes to a "mistress" the aforementioned qualities are extremely trivial.

Now did Steve McNair plan to marry her? Who knows. However, it really doesn't matter because I am explaining what "I" would be looking for.

That's just me though :D .

The reason people bring up her looks is... what else on earth would a 40 year old man find interesting in a 20 year old waitress BESIDES her looks? Come on... foolish, foolish thing for Mr. McNair to be doing.

That said, a man grows used to the way his wife looks. No woman is above being cheated on by a cad of a man, regardless of beauty. The cheater is looking for more than looks - usually an infantile need for validation. I have zero respect for adulterers...

The gf appears to be Iranian, which makes me wonder if this was some sort of "honor killing" by her family. Chances are she did the deed herself.

I guess it's not safe to be around middle eastern men or women

I thought just the men were fanatical about keeping their spouses

They're also fanatical about keeping their sisters "pure." I wonder if she had any brothers. Honor killings are rare on US soil, but they do happen.
