thanks for sharing but I haven’t ever, nor do I now care what Steve young thinks.
If Switzer actually does his job and has the team prepared in the 94 Championship game, Steve Young is completely irrelevant. I don't care what he has to say either.

Still think Jerry is at a crossroads. He’s now in his 80s…. He can be as stubborn as he wants but the opportunities for him to win a SB before he goes are getting less and less. He has to see that at this point

There's really nothing to defend here and you're running damage control. Anyone who thinks Jerry won Super Bowl 30 doesn't know what they're talking about at all.
lol ok. Why didnt Jimmy create that culture away from Jerry? How about that Ole patriot way how's that going? It's the players! Good lord

That one season was enough to show it was the players. Wheres that culture Pete Carroll created in Seattle? Ohhh it left with the actual players. Interesting that the team plays soft now with the same head coach. Again, hilarious
I basically parodied what Troy stated about the 95 season and even during it the wheels were coming off.

Just because he didn't exactly repeat it in Miami doesn't mean it never happened in dallas. So your logic is terrible.

Steve Young absolutely nails it.

Its what some of us have been saying for years.

Jerry Jones is the problem with this team.

Now the Star thing is dumb and against the NFL rules.
The sad part about this is he knows he is the problem. He admitted this before a SNF game vs Atlanta back in 2012 I believe with Bob Costas. He knows the results would have him fired if it was anyone else.

The longer I have been a Cowboys fan, the more I agree with Steve Young. The irony.

Will never happen and why this NOW 28 YEARS drought continues.
The way it hits me is that I was in my 40’s when they last were even in a NFCCG…I’m now in my 70’s. Let’s go Jerry, I’m running out of time…and so are you.

True! He has more years behind him than in front of him as do we all.

Didn't exactly? You mean didn't come close. Like patriots haven't come close. Or seahawks haven't come close etc etc. When the players leave the culture leaves goofy

Nonsense take. We won with Barry switzer. Jerry was "in charge". If the response is it was Jimmy's players then that supports my argument.
LOL.

It's not nonsense. Switzer was a unique case in that he just walked into the most talent franchise in the NFL and basically didn't have to screw up what Jimmy built. That was an uber talented, disciplined, battle tested team that had been forged by Johnson. Switzer just had to sit in the driver's seat and not *** it up.

But then what happened as that team got old/dismantled?

I am simply amazed that people are just so blind to what is very, very clear. There has been one constant through the last 25 years. We've burned through hundreds of different players, dozens of scouts, dozens of assistant coaches, a small handful of HCs, etc. But the results never change. They just don't. Yet people act like they can't figure out why that is.

It's both funny and sad.

Are you saying players don't create the culture? Lol

Jerry wasn't in control back then as he is now. He was new to all of this. He gave Jimmy all the power. Jimmy built the team, Jerry paid for it. Barry inherited what Jimmy built. I was alive back then and not a child.

That's the difference between then and now.
