Still haven’t beaten anyone

Such a bogus argument. Thirty-two (32) teams in this league...maybe a quarter of which are considered to be "anyone." You beat the team in front of you, that's it.

Who cares what the media says or thinks? And any time you beat an NFL team you’ve done something. How old are you?
Apparently it's important enough to state it on this forum.

Honestly, I was scratching my head on exactly what the media is "saying" about the cowboys.

If they beat the 49ers I may be willing to count the Cardinals game as a fluke, but my gut is telling me we will get exposed. I genuinely hope that we destroy them after what they've done to us in the post season recently, but I feel like it comes down to Dak vs Purdy and that's not really a competition.

I don't think they care about the media, but I think for all of us to see them as a serious contenders they need to beat some teams with better QB's than Daniel and Mac Jones and Wilson. But they can only play who they play. They have a gauntlet coming up At SF, At Chargers, Rams and At Philthy! Win 3 of 4 and we will know they're a legit contender.

In the scenario I laid out, the present day Cowboys are what the 49ers were in 1994.
Not hardly, the two dominant franchises ... New England and Kansas City/Cincinnati are hitting declines in a similar manner to decline periods in the past decades. San Francisco went through franchise rebuilds not that long ago as well.

The Cowboys need to follow momentum now, to where this leads. But they are fully competitive. San Francisco better not fall prey to their feelings of self value!

This is pro football and still fully competitive by the nature of the sport.

No fluke is needed...they lost. Teams over come losses.

That will be the story this week by the media and haters. This 49ers game is going to be a great measuring stick. It would be a good time to shut the media and haters up for one week anyway. Let’s see if the Cowboys have closed in one the team that has eliminated them the last two post seasons. If not then they need to make some moves before the deadline. They should be all in this year.
It’s week 4. Who the hell has beaten anyone? Y’all hyped up the Giants and Jets before we played them we beat them and now their record sucks.

Weird how the Cowboys are 3-1 but haven't beaten anyone. Maybe we are tanking for Caleb Williams

Well our record says different... we lose to a "weaker team" and the sky is falling, but apparently wins don't matter... mmmmmmm okay

I’m a Cowboys fan, but consider myself to be a realist. While possessing a 3-1 record is noteworthy, I look at the level of competition this far and am not impressed. Played against Daniel Jones, Zack Wilson, Joshua Dobbs and Mac Jones…these QBs certainly don’t strike fear into defenses, yet Dobbs managed to throttle the Cowboys defense.
The Cowboys’ red zone offense continues to be anemic; fans seem to get caught up in total yards, which masks the issue at-hand.
The run defense certainly needs to improve; opposing teams seem to make their living running to the right side of Dallas’ d-line; if Dallas couldn’t contain the Cardinal’s RBs, how can we expect them to contain CMC, Deebo, Ayuk and Kittle.
The loss of Diggs also hurts; it weakens the run defense as it will make Dallas play more zone; and while Bland is playing well…he is not Diggs and I think both he and Gilmore will be challenged by SF in coverage
This game will be a benchmark game against a likely playoff opponent; this is a reality check for the Cowboys.

We’re going to be the league joke next week when we get blown out by the 49ers. It’s just fact. This will be our toughest comp yet and our offense looks more anemic than I’ve seen in years.
We are the “league joke” any time we lose a game, throw a pick, drop a pass, fumble a ball, or fall down, because: 1)People overreact to epic levels, and 2)The world is FILLED with jealous losers.

It’s silly to think we will get “blown out” by the 49ers. Just asinine, especially given the play of the defense so far this year. Good grief!

Good teams beat the bad teams. That's how it works. What would the records of those teams be if Dallas didn't beat them?

It's funny how the Cowboys can beat down a team like the Jets and "it's only the Jets". Yet the media is drooling over Patrick Mahomes when the Chiefs beat the same team 23-20.

Or how Dallas' 35 point win over the Patriots means "the Pats suck" yet the Eagles beat them by 5 points and it's "The Eagles are clutch!"
True statement. In some so-called fans eyes, the Cowboys always receives negativity. Philly and the 49ers opponents combined records, are similar to the Cowboys opponents. What is the difference?

What will any of us find out about this team that we already don't know? The teams issues have been known for years.
