Stop the handwringing over the final offensive possession

The bottom line is our offense gave us a huge cushion and he defense blew it. Then they got the lead back and all they asked was to keep GB from going 75 yards in 80 seconds.

Those pinpointing the last offensive series as the culprit are misplacing blame. You do whatever you need to to score there. You DO NOT fall down at the one. That's moronic. You don't run on 2nd down if you think the best play is a pass.

Except we already knew the defense is garbage. The coaches could have done something obvious to limit their exposure. The hand wringing is completely justified.

If you have Aaron Rodgers on the other sideline, and you know what type of defense you have, you don't throw the ball there. That just absolutely stupid.

But like I said in the prediction thread (Although I was obviously way off with the score) this offense has to be basically perfect to over come this defense.

With that in mind the coaching staff CAN NOT be brain dead at the end and throw passes stopping the clock and leaving more time for AR.

Defense is just a symptom of the garbage head coach and garbage owner.

I've see this from the Garrett company for years.

They we're executing the plan to perfection.

And then... "gee, let's throw the ball."

How many times does Garrett need to see his defense give up a TD in the final minute for him to understand that it's not impossible or even unlikely?

I agree. Tactical error for sure.

But this will always be the problem with Dallas until you build even an average defense with a competent coaching staff. Expecting the offense to control the entire game and essentially ask them to play a near perfect game. This is probably the ONLY defense in the NFL playing at home that gives up that TD drive in that spot. Make a stop or at worst give up a 40-50 yd FG attempt. Allowing a TD there is disgustingly poor.

I think its stupid to worry about Aaron Rodgers when you are losing by 4 lol.........you worry about scoring.....your defense gets paid too...if you want to protect them more than you did today? Then you might as well just cut everyone and just go with rookies and let them get beat out there.
