How many times are we going to trust the defense? It's terrible.

Going back to the playoff game, the offense had a chance to finish Rodgers off sitting on the bench but nope! We give him the ball back and basically run a scrimmage against our great defense. Because we trust our defense!

The defense lost this game, period. Dak and company did PLENTY.

Two weeks in a row, no less.

This team looks a lot like the 8-8 team in 2013, the worst defense in Cowboys history. We'd lose 51-48 and people would be mad at Romo.

When you don't have a defense, you have to be SMART with clock management towards the end of the game. We were not smart.

You cannot ask your defense to "make a play" or "make a stop" when they have shown the inability to do so late in games. How could you??

Yeah, I mean why not go down at 1 yard line. You might not score on 4 attempts, but if we do score there is at least half the time left on the clock. Couldn't even hold them to a FG attempt.

I guess what can we expect given that we rebuilt the entire secondary. We are actually getting sacks this year but we can't stop the run and we get very few plays in the secondary.

3 losses giving up 42, 35, and 35 isn't going to go very far.

tell me something. if everyone here knows 1 minute and change is to much time for rodgers, why wouldn't the staff know this and keep running the ball to run the clock out? it might not be on dak but it was definitely on garrett and linehan. that pass on 2 and 1 should not have been thrown

The 2nd down pass only looks silly because we scored from 15 yards out on the following play. Assuming it takes us even 3 plays to score, it's a non factor.

Rodgers still gets the ball with 40 seconds and a timeout or more time amd no timeout.

We needed a stop. Period.

In the plus side, our d looked better this week with irving and hitchens. Just need the porcelain doll Lee back and we will be okay.

It doesn't work that way. You have a minute left, you score the touchdown if it's there.

Yeah, hindsight is 20-20 there.

It's easy to say we left too much time, but the most important thing was to score the TD. You can't "slow play" it as if a TD is inevitable on our end. Had we done that and failed to score, the criticism would be that we weren't aggressive enough in going for the TD.

The D just needed to not completely collapse. Even a FG attempt by GB doesn't kill us, especially with their kicking issues today.
