They do find consistent gems....they also make blunders like this finessing the roster.

They thought they were smart and lost Ridgeway last year.

Ridgeway had a nice role in a stacked Washington dt room.
Im surprised they kept him again. He isnt very good

If Lance didn't take it, then Will Grier would've. At least make it make sense. McCarthy was just saying how he would like 4 Qbs.
I’ve mentioned that a few times. If Dallas never traded for Lance, Grier would have been on the 53. It was just a QB swap and there was no roster spot taken from a non-QB. Let them rue though……

He's a special teams guy at best. He's a LONG way from even being considered as a player in real NFL games against actual pros.
Which is why I said I didn’t think he would contribute this year but absolutely could moving forward

We shouldn't make too much of this. First he was an undrafted player so it's not like they lost a well-regarded player. It is rare that a waived player becomes a super star. I don't think they will regret this decision this year. Maybe next year or the year after but I still don't think Land will ever be more than a JAG.

But my question is who showed more, Eric Scott or Land? I think Land showed it in games, Scott did not.

No excuse for this other than incompetence by the FO. I understand he likely would be inactive in game days THIS year. Look ahead a year. Armstrong a free agent, Fowler a free agent, hopefully Sam isn’t suspended or something and who knows how much longer Lawrence is going to play. Such a bad decision.
There’s a great excuse. He wasn’t one of the top 5 players at his position and that’s all the room they had. It would be nice to have him on the PS and see what he could be next year but guess what. There’s a whole new crop of DE’s next year and at least 25-30 of them will be much better players. Losing Land is not that big a deal. If he becomes a good player, that’s great for him. Dallas will survive without him.

Just thank Jerry. Lance is taking Land’s roster spot.

Make up your mind man. You literally just accepted the trade and now you're back to hating it? Cmon Rocky, there are many other cut candidates besides our developmental 3rd string qb. For once Jerry tries to get ahead of it and yall still crap on him.

While Jerry seems to be making moves without consulting. Mike, I have no doubt Quinn was in on this, so I'm fine.

While you guys are talking about losing a player, I see my Giants just signed WR Dennis Houston to our PS. I understand he is a former Cowboy, so now we have two former Cowboy WRs in Houston and Beasley.

So, what is the word you got for me on Houston? Any reason to get excited? Can he also excel in PR or KR? We desperately need somebody to do that. Thanks in advance. Let me know if there is a Giant player or former Giant player you want a word on as well.

Colts traded a 1rst and a 3rd for Carson Wentz then traded for a washed Matt Ryan.

They won 4 games last year.

Might want to examine your faith in their player evaluation.
So 2 teams passed on Land.

2.

He wasn't making it through the league, no matter your thoughts on the Colts.
