Worked for 11 games. Manning had a 5 yard route turn gold. Dak has no such receiver.

Well...if you've been paying any attention to the NFL for the last decade, you should realize these two things:

Bill Belichick does by far the best job of any coach in the league of tailoring his game plan to his personnel and more specifically his opponent. There are times when a guy like Jonas Gray has 200 yards rushing and times when they come out and throw the ball 45 times.

Jason Garrett's biggest weakness is his inability to adjust. We spent 3 first round picks on the Oline because he has one way he wants to play. This is great when things are going well but the biggest criticism of JG for years now has been his inability to make adjustments. He's just horrid at that facet of coaching. He wants to line up and say "we do xxx best and we dare you to stop it."

Unfortunately we don't have the HoF Quarterback, HoF Receiver to make it work ... at least right now.

After the last 2 weeks, I'm more inclined to believe our coaching is closer to average than good...last year 4-12 was what it is and all the previous years of 8-8 with JG is who he is...

The final chapter of that is yet to be written.

It's how they react the next 2 weeks that is more important than what happened the last 2 weeks.

Exactly, others do just fine and adjust. We have always sucked when adjusting to hurt players ( Dak not included ). Surely there is someone out there that can block like Swaim???

I'll be disappointed if we draft offense in the first 3 rounds, enough draft have been invested in the offense, defense needs some TLC, but I have a feeling that the FO office could be satisfied and overestimate the talent on the defensive side of the ball, not recognizing how great Rod is at coaching guys up and going with the excuse that JG and the O needs more help.

We actually had defense projected as primary need and last year we basically went Zeke because of 2014 but we had Ramsey Favored. The year we went Martin we had three defensive players slated before him and they were all gone. Mo Claiborne w another example and Jones was to shore up safety. Lawrence as well and we thought We could resolve pass rusher via a huge free agent signing in Hardy.

Yup, we got em on that one play. It was a really explosive offensive performance. Less than 300 total yards and 1 TD. Looked like we were playing the 2000 Ravens out there.
