Well, to be fair, it occurs to me that we have played some particularly strong defenses lately also. NY played crazy good defense, and TB is also.
Very good defenses. But with experience Dak will get faster with his reads. It's pretty amazing what he has done with just one camp and 14 games. Another off season to work on his craft and we should see something amazing

Still doesn't guarantee you overall success, and that's my point. The reason we're successful is because of the smart decisions Dak makes every game. Smart QB play is the key here. Smart QB play will win you Super Bowls.

You can play smart all game long, then do something stupid to lose the game. That is not smart QBing. We have the smarter QB playing right now and that's why we're 12-2.

Yes...until you meet a defense like New York's or Minnesota's.

Playing small ball will absolutely win you a lot of games in the aggregate; it's been Andy Reid's key to success. Unfortunately, the NFL playoffs is a single game elimination tournament. It's not like the NBA playoffs where it's a seven game series and the best team will almost always win over a seven game span.

In one game, any number of things can happen that cause you to lose. That's why it's a benefit to have a quarterback who can get you that improbable long yardage conversion.

Dak holds onto the ball too long last 3 games. Incomplete passes are far better than negative plays.

If we stop shooting ourselves in the foot imagine how many points we could score.

Some complain that he holds the ball too long ... some complain that he throws too quick with dinks and dunks. *sigh*

That weather was a witch, even Eli was having troubles all game long, receivers were dropping passes, etc... If you can't see that, I don't know what to tell you. In the Vikings game, he won the game. I don't know what to tell you there. All I can tell you is that this rookie 4th rounder is moving us up and down the field. How he does it? I don't really care. We're 12-2 in the best shape we've been in in some 20 years and I'm not ruining it because ya'll want Romo in. Romo's not getting in, the sooner you guys can accept it the better off you guys will be. Trust me.

You'd have a point if Tony actually got us to a championship game. Looking flashy hasn't done anything for us the past 10 years.

Romo got sacked at a higher % rate in 2014 than Dak has been in 2016.

Who said anything about putting Romo in?

Dak is playing exceptionally well for a rookie. No one has argued this point. We're all pleased as punch going forward. We're simply discussing why has the offense has bogged down at different points, especially in the red zone, during the past few weeks.

Honestly, you're taking this too personally. That's bad for your blood pressure.

Tony hasn't gotten the Cowboys to a championship due to the 4-12 talent around him. Blaming Tony for not winning Super Bowls is like blaming Dak for never winning a national championship at Mississippi State.

There's absolutely ZERO reason to either want Romo in or put Romo in. Romo needs to sit where he's at and have teams wonder if he's still got it or not. And as far as they're concerned, he's got it. This could help us get a good draft grade in a trade.
