Sugar Bowl - LSU vs ND

Senior Bowl and Combine will slide him right back up the scale guys. I know some hate to hear that.

Will ilt? Is he that strong and accurate? I mean, I guess it wouldn't surprise me at all if a great performance at either would catapult him up the boards. But is he the type guaranteed to do well at both?

Oakland is pretty desperate but bless his heart they'll ruin him.

But the way Al loves his WR's I wouldn't put it past him to take Calvin Johnson.

I didn't realize Al was a Calvinist (pretty cute huh) but who would throw to him?

I was a huge Quinn homer last year. I was all for trying to get this golden boy.

Now -- and I've watched him numerous times this year, so I'm not basing this on this game -- I wouldn't be surprised to see him have a Leinart/Rodgers-like draft-day slide. Probably won't fall to the 20th pick, but I don't see how a team can justify taking him atop the draft.

I mean, if Matt Leinart falls despite all he did last year, how the heck does Quinn not do fall given his relative struggles in big games?

Because as soon as those scouts and coaches see him throw the ball with so much zip in the underwear olympics, they are going to forget all about how average he looked against the tougher teams this year.

Because he's real pretty and women are the NFL's untapped market thus sensitive quarterbacks will be the next rage.

I just started watching, but I really like the way Terry Bradshaw is broadcasting the game... Howie isn't bad either. They're a good team.

I thought the same, when you don't see Terry he passes for intelligent.

How about that kicker NOT running out of bounds. That's awesome.

I was just about to post this same observation. Truthfully, we may be so used to horror show that is MNF, that an average broadcast would be an upgrade.

Who's the play-by-play guy. Kenny shows up on my closed captions, but I can't think of a name to go with it.

Come on Notre Dame...start playing like the friggin Eagles.

They're already choking away a big game. I'd say it's time for them to STOP playing like the Eagles.

like i said earlier this was the easiest bowl game of all to predict... ND clearly doesnt have the speed and toughness to beat a LSU and well i would be bet they beat no one in the top 20 if they played right now

Les Miles is embarassing Charlie Weiss. He is giving me confidence he would be good blood as Parcells successor.

Jamarcus Russel makes Brady Quinn look like a peewee quarterback. Men against boys.

Kenny Albert
I hope we don't try and draft a Safety from Notre Dame, they would fit in here.

i certainly would not mind at all hiring Les Miles as our HC starting next season. he did a pretty good job at oklahoma st and is now doing a great job at LSU

I think Russel secured himself as the Jay Cutler of this draft. His stock will likely only rise.
