I would love to see the Cowboys beat their butts with Suh in the lineup. The only thing that really worries me about Suh is him taking a cheap shot on Romo or Murray. This is compounded by the fact that the NFL does not protect Romo like they do Rogers or Manning or Brady. I just would hate to see Romo take a cheap shot, with his bad back, from that pos.

We should be able to beat the Lions regardless. I don't want any freebies this year. If Dallas wants to finally earn everyone's respect and shut up all the naysayers, no better chance than beating a full-strength Lions, the Packers in GB, and the Seahawks in Seattle.

No. No. And no. You dont get to do that. No NFL team sat around saying "oh we beat dallas BUT they werent healthy" Our injuries get catagorized as "no excuses" yet 31 teams around the lague need to be at full strength to validate a win for DAL? Yeah ok.

Romo never gets the calls that Rogers/Brady/Manning get.............go look at that shot Romo took in Seattle from Bobby Wagner...........I have seen hits not even half as vicious as that get flagged as roughing, but yet Romo gets no love from the refs.

Its like Romo banged Goddell's wife the way the NFL treats him.

Call me "old school" but if I'm Callahan I'm saying.....

"Alright Fred, you hold him up, and Leary/Martin will take out his knees. Good Riddance"

I would hate for one of our guys to get suspended doing that. That could hurt our chances against Green Bay assuming we beat the Lions.

For my part, I'd prefer not to have Romo exposed to a serial cheap-shot artist....or would you like to see what happens in the Rodgers/Weeden matchup at Lambeau?

You have a point.................might as well not even bother getting off the plane in that scenario.

i am of the opinion if any det player pulls this crap.. they will either a (not smart but nonetheless) get smacked down by, well the entire offense to begin with.. or 2. get smacked by the the play on the field, coaches will join the frenzy and call plays to smack down, wear down and humiliate that player..which is what i would lie to happen. in the event of such blatant cheap shots... ...

Yea in all for beating a team with no excuses but not like this. This guy can end romos season with some stupid dirty garbage. Set a precedent.

They're not stupid they saw you bruh

Suh caused this business for himself...whether the appeal happens or not, the Cowboys have nothing to do with his player-conduct issues. These issues have followed him every season since 2010. He has amassed nearly $250k in fines, with the biggest coming last season ($100k). When loss of money fails to rectify bad conduct, then suspension is more than warranted. I don't see it being overturned...there is precedent...history, and it ain't good where Suh is concerned. Moreover, Sapp's inside information on Suh having to be called back to conduct a press-conference on his behavior (another incident) just further emphasizes that the guy seems to have little conscience on Sundays. Considering Raiola, it might be rubbing off on fellow players. We definitely don't need this kind of thing in Dallas...if it comes down to a decision on whether or not to pursue him. He has habitual player-conduct problems.

How many games did Suh miss when Detroit went 0-16 on the road against winning teams?

For people who say we won't be given props if we beat Detroit without Suh, do you think the Eagles cared that they played a Romo-less Cowboys in Week 17 last season? Did anyone put an asterisk by that win for that reason? No. Everyone has injuries and suspensions, and it's not like Detroit can't still win the game without Suh. If we win the game, no one will care that Suh wasn't there

Just in case Suh wins his appeal, Romo might want to watch the following tape in order to prepare for Suh...with the first case study being an unprepared Matt Schaub and then the 2nd tape showing how Romo could prepare:

The lions won't be at "full strength" any way without Nick fairley and Stephen Tulloch so that angle will still be there. I just don't want him to do anything to hurt or get a reaction out of our players resulting in a suspension, we have bigger fish to fry.

If our offense plays the way it has been, whether Suh plays or not is immaterial. We should clobber them.

For those who are concerned about beating a team not "at full strength"' .... No team is at full strength including our own this time of year.

Screw that full strength crap. Suh has repeatedly done this, as well as his team mate did same thing last week.
He deserved to be suspended.
We won't be at full strength with th Hitchens injury. So the full strength crap goes both ways.

If Suh could play, we would lose Romo,,damn well guaranteed.

This is the playoffs and this game means a lot to the fans, as well as the team of course. Win and take advantage of it.

If people want to use this as an excuse and all that, blah, blah, blah, then they don't understand it. Injuries are part of the NFL, and suspensions is part of the Lions. Such is life, I want a win.....
