Sure it will. No one will still be talking about it by Friday if he is going to play. If he is suspended, it will be talked about from now until the game is over and if Dallas wins, for a few days after that. How is the NFL fumbling the ball? They suspended him. If it is reversed, it will be by and independent arbitrator, not the NFL. It is out of the NFL's hands at this point.

I would only hope an independent arbitrator would see the absolute lunacy of simply levying a fine, considering Suh's past number of transgressions. At some point, common sense should indicate that harsh measures are likely the only way that Suh's determination to be brutally abusive can be curbed. The penalty should NOT be lessened.

I agree with you. Given the intentional act on the field and his history, there is absolutely no valid reason to change the punishment. But this could be one of those under the table type trade-offs b/t the NFLPA and NFL where this punishment is lessened to only a fine.

Why would the NFLPA get into this when one of it's members is trying to hurt another member?

I hope so to but it is a playoff game and he has an easy path to appease both sides. That's hard for any arbitrator to resist.

I don't see how it 'appeases both sides' to defy the NFL's imposed punishment and give him less punishment for a second offense?

What happens the next time he does it? A bonus?

You can see him looking up while doing this, looks like he sees his leg in the jumbo-tron. It was intentional, the second step anyways.

I don't think Suh's suspension will be overturned. On the remote chance it is I will look forward to seeing him punished by Martin and Frederick all day.

Because he is still punished but gets to play. I'm not saying I agree, its just what I feel will happen because its the easy path.

Would be nice to see him and Martin go at it.

It would never be overturned if the Lions were playing Rodgers, Brady or Manning this week.

Well, I'll disagree with you on that but we'll wait to find out.

Like I said before if league found him guilty he'd be suspended.

The only way they overturn decision is if they find him not guilty.

The importance of Sunday's game is irrelevant. Suh could've prevented this and the league needs to make an example out of him and to the rest of the league that suspensions can and will be handed down.

While I agree, we do not have to face the media and try and prove that. How are the people that do supposed to prove 100% it was intentional? The easiest thing for them to do is reduce it to a fine and have it go way.

He just tried to amputate the league MVP and the State Farm double discount whatever geico guy. Suh has no sympathy from anyone here

I didn't think he would or should be suspended in the first place. I don't think that there is definitive proof of intent.

I also don't care what people say or think if Dallas wins and he doesn't play. The bottom line for me is Dallas winning Suh getting to play or not makes no difference to me. I think it makes it easier without him but I still don't believe what happened was worthy of a suspension. If it hadn't been Rodgers I don't think anything gets said.

If not suspended, should he be fined?
