Suh Suspended According to Schefter/Mort *Merged*

100% it was intentional. I have watch a that guy play a lot and he has a screw loose. He takes some kind of sick pleasure in trying to hurt people.
The first time I saw it I knew it was intentional.

Correct...hes a thug

Don't condone what Suh did but does anyone remember how Joe Greene played? He wouldn't be in HOF with today's scrutiny.

Joe Green played nasty just like Charles Haley played nasty, but both did not intentionally try and cause harm like this 500 lb punk does!

Despite whatever professional animosity the Dallas Cowboys may have among those in the NFL League office, everyone there realizes that there's a lot more interest in and profit to be made with the Cowboys in the playoffs, as opposed to the Detroit LIons. Same can be said with Green Bay, really.

And the NFL makes a **** of lot more money off Rogers than they do off Suh. Except off fines, apparently....

His history of acting a fool kills him here. He has no basis to win an appeal IMO.

While he's an elite player, i think it's crazy to think their run D falls apart due to his absence. Obviously it helps, but it's going to be tough sledding regardless. We just need to stay patient and wear them down.

This is gonna hurt his bottom line, I wonder how much it will effect his next contract, its going to be interesting to see how this plays out. Hopefully last week was his last game to make an impression on future teams

How dumb is this guy? I mean you really have to question his discipline and decision making...

He is going to miss the playoffs because of that stupid action.

For the record, Suh didn't "step on" Matt Schaub. He kicked him square in the family jewels.

if there was one thing Detroit had going into this game it was their DL. Huge blow for them. Frederick has been having some issues last few weeks with burly DT who were getting leverage on him and not allowing him to anchor properly. Its significant enough of a loss that I think Dallas needs to head back into war room to tailor offensive strategy to attack Suh backup.

I will not be shocked if he wins the appeal. the video does leave quite a bit of doubt of intent.

I disagree.

The first step should have resulted in a surprise reaction to avoid an impediment that was encountered.
Instead, a second deliberate step back onto the impediment (leg) was on balance, intensified by raising the other foot, and then ended with a calm controlled walk away, that included ignoring the shouts and push of the victim. There was no evidence whatsoever that this was not a deliberate intent to injure.

The dude needs therapy.

Cristina Carter said a lot of players do the same thing that Suh did. They just don't get caught or have his reputation.

And you can't tell me Rodgers wasn't playing it up. You would think someone that has been in front of the camera would have put on a better show. Regardless...Rodgers played it up...The ref had no choice but to "protect" the NFL's darling. I don't think the ref wanted to be "that guy" for not protecting one of the leagues marquee players. Who would want to live w/ that wrath?

If he doesn't play Sunday we just had a HUGE present handed to us by the league.

I disagree. The league did what it had to do. He would have been suspended even if the Lions won that game. The gift was from Suh for putting himself in that situation.
