49ers are also only 1-3 in the division. They play @ GB and @ Buffalo the next 2 weeks. Also have Detroit, Miami, AZ and Rams down the stretch. They are just about done this season barring a miracle.Get a load of the NFC West Standings

No doubt they'd be better if they had a Chase, Jefferson, etc.If the Chiefs showed one thing, it’s that a top a 5 OLine with scrub WRs makes for a bad offense even if your QB is amazing. In fact the drop in Herbert’s numbers is similar to that of Mahomes because someone has to catch the ball you throw and the Chargers offense has generally not been good because they don’t really have an answer to that question.
That's something Mahomes' critics are not taking into consideration, that the Chiefs lost their good WRs.If the Chiefs showed one thing, it’s that a top a 5 OLine with scrub WRs makes for a bad offense even if your QB is amazing. Until I get back my Dallas Cowboys, I am going to consider Chargers as my second team and cheer for them. (1) I wanted Jim Harbaugh here as HC, and (2) I wanted Herbert as our QB since I started watching him at Oregon.
I need a team to keep me engaged in the football season. I don't see any light inside the Joneses Tunnel.

You don’t need Chase or Jefferson. 2 of the 4 elite QBs (Lamar and Allen) do not have elite WR play but they have good enough pass catchers. The Chiefs WR is a group of cast offs from other teams. The Chargers are slightly above that but still in a bad place. If you have legit 2s, at the very least, an elite QB can make them look like 1s. However a group of WR4s and worse just are not enough. No doubt they'd be better if they had a Chase, Jefferson, etc.
Back in the day, when I was very young, I had a "2nd team" I rooted for in the AFC. It was the Oakland Raiders. I liked Jim Plunkett and how the Raiders beat the Eagles in the Super Bowl. Then, a few years later, they beat Washington in another Super Bowl. I haven't rooted for the Raiders in some time. They're just not the same.I mean, I'll always be a Cowboys fan, but I don't see anything wrong with having a second or third team. For me, my 2-4 teams are the Broncos, Browns (I live in Cleveland), and Colts.
I grew up a Dallas fan in Ohio. Already was a fan for 2 years when the Bengals started. So I still follow them. I always liked the Colts as well some.I mean, I'll always be a Cowboys fan, but I don't see anything wrong with having a second or third team. And there is another one. Two great catches.Wow, what a snag by that back. He has good hands.
