Chargers don’t know how to close yet….
Back in the day, when I was very young, I had a "2nd team" I rooted for in the AFC. It was the Oakland Raiders. I liked Jim Plunkett and how the Raiders beat the Eagles in the Super Bowl. Then, a few years later, they beat Washington in another Super Bowl. I haven't rooted for the Raiders in some time. They're just not the same.
Or you can root for eagles to fail
have they ever?Chargers don’t know how to close yet….
Nope, but Harbaugh will change that sooner or later.have they ever?
When I first started following the NFL my second team was the Houston Oilers. I loved Bum Phillips and Earl Campbell.Back in the day, when I was very young, I had a "2nd team" I rooted for in the AFC. It was the Oakland Raiders. My aunt and uncle used to have season tickets to the Oilers when Bum and Earl were there. I would go with them every now and then. I loved Earl and Bum! I lived in Montreal so got Vermont CBS station so it was GIants at 1pm and Cowboys at 4 so Giants were 2nd team but a very distant 2ndWhen I first started following the NFL my second team was the Houston Oilers. I loved Bum Phillips and Earl Campbell.
That was parental malpractice by your folks right there. I was a Giants hater by like 6 years old.I was 11 so division rivals meant little to me
I would always root for the Cowboys when they played the Oilers but my hatred for Pittsburgh was really at an all time high during that time. Not only did the Cowboys lose two sbs to them but the Oilers kept losing to them too. My interest in the Oilers didn't last long though. After Bum and Earl left I lost interest. My aunt and uncle used to have season tickets to the Oilers when Bum and Earl were there. I would go with them every now and then. I loved Earl and Bum! I've been a Cowboys fan for over 20 years, but I had to add a successful team to my favorite list since the Cowboys are blowing it so badly, and that team was the Kansas City Chiefs. Mahomes is fun to watch, so when the Cowboys aren't playing I go looking for Mahomes! LOLI grew up a Dallas fan in Ohio. Already was a fan for 2 years when the Bengals started. So I still follow them. I always liked the Colts as well some.
