You threw in the snarky “they did what Dallas fans criticize the Cowboys for doing” but that’s a pretty disingenuous statement considering Baun was not a primary FA signing for them, he was a depth signing.

But in Dallas, guys of his caliber are signed in FA as solutions.

His mobility is the only thing that kept them feom getting 10 sacks.

Allen prolly would have been better due to his running....but Burrow would have left in an ambulance.

Eagles got Dejean #40 overall, which I thought was a steal. He made a game changing play today, and has been a really good CB for Philidelbpiaaiajenoa.

There is no snarky anything. The issue in Dallas isn’t how much money is spent. It’s how you spend it. I’m perfectly fine with trading for Cooks and Gilmore. I’m perfectly fine with Kendrick’s. I want contributors. What Baun represented was a young guy who has shown flashes of potential. Certainly no one saw All Pro but they signed him because they knew they had a role for him and they needed linebacker help. Fangios genius.

So no it wasn’t snarky it was a real assessment of a front office putting on a clinic of how to do what people claim can’t be done.
