Lady Gaga is actually pretty talented.

She's got the talent vocally as well as on the piano, but she's also letting her record company turn her into a joke with goofy getups and cookie cutter dance mixes.

She's making millions, but she's looking like a complete fool doing it.

Jay-Z ya theres a winner for ya. I cant decide if i like him or not,his poor attempts at the english language are laughable at best. Averae performance at best by the Who tonight but still better then Lady Gaga or any cRap nonsense.

No big deal. As long as we agree that the Cowboys will host their own Superbowl.

I used to be a fan of the Who but after tonight I was wondering, did I really used to be a fan, it was terrible.

Looking forward for the Cowboys playing in SB45 and maybe Favre will have another commercial where he can't make up his mind to retire in 2025. His commercial was priceless, no the interception was priceless, the commercial was worth $2.5 million.

Now all the hoopla has begun......oh great scott Charlie Brown!!!!!!

Best commercial of the night, IMHO.

No, not narrow, just my opinion. What do YOU consider good music? I realize there are different tastes out there, but most of today's music is crap. How do I know this? Because it lasts about 6 months.

Actually... I'm rather curious what you like.
Could you name some bands/artists? (Besides The Who...)

They've been terrible for years.

The Who sucked.
Springsteen sucked.
Tom Petty sucked.
Prince was DECENT.
Rolling Stones sucked.
Paul McCartney sucked.
Janet Jackson & Timberlake sucked.
Shania Twain & Sting sucked.
U2 was pretty powerful, especially in the wake of 9/11.
Phil Collins, Enrique Iglesias and Babyface = I did not watch.

So two half time shows this decade were watchable and entertaining/ interesting or moving.

I saw an interesting idea that Deion and Chris Rock brought up on the NFLN pre-game show today and that was to have a comedian come out for the halftime show. I don't know who they would get but that would be interesting.

I think there's an inherent flaw when you roll out a rushed, 15-or-so-minute performance of any genre. If it's hip hop, you alienate some viewers. If it's country, you alienate some. If it's rock, you alienate some. And if you try to get some made-for-the-Super Bowl combination of the bunch, you risk *******izing each and every one of the artists you put on the stage.

Pre nipple-gate, I think the performances were at least "fun" in their own ways. Even if you didn't like the artist, they had some edge and created some interest. Now they're so safe and by the book, it's as if Bill Polian, Jim Caldwell and Co. are directing them.

I don't know how fun concerts can be when you strip them down the way the Super Bowl has.

The stage was pretty neat. Helped me ignore the loogies stuck in their throats.

That halftime show was terrible, I actually dosed off about halfway into their performance and I woke up when the Saints recovered the onside kick.

I agree with the poster that said just have the finals of the punt, pass, and kick competition at halftime.

Agree with everyone but Prince and Springsteen. Bruce put on a good show and Prince was great. The Who looked like they should have been rolled out in wheelchairs. It was kind of sad.

To all those that did enjoy watching the Who perform during the half time I'm happy for you but it boggles my mind why the NFL doesnt have multiple genres performing during half time. Obviously it was my personal taste to not enjoy the show and you cant please everyone but for being the most popular sports league in the country with all kinds of different people watching they should make a more concerted effort to make a better show. You can have 3 different artist or groups from selected genres and make one hell of a show during the half. Like I said you can't please everyone but people shouldnt be forced to one type of music

completely disagree. First they do have a pregame band or two and then different known singers sign the national anthem and whatever. The actual halftime show is way too short for what you suggest
