Glad we won but the game wasn’t encouraging. Eagles just looked better than us until the turnover bug hit them. Can’t see that happening if we play them again.

Yep would be kind of hard to believe that we'll get four turnovers off of them again That bomb to ty Hilton wasn't really something I'd be counting on in the future and fortunately our center covered that fumble.

That said I'm all about the trenches They seem to provide consistent results The Eagles have a serious offensive line and Hurts is now able to make you pay with his arm or his legs behind this line.

I'm not a fan of the guy whatsoever but he is in the conversation for MVP and you can't deny what he has been talented enough to do as a passer and a running back 13 rushing touchdowns is pretty impressive along with 750 rushing yards.

All I'm saying is it could be a far different game when he's playing and we need to be prepared and healthy.

Welcome to the Suh and Joseph Zone!
Another one with the blinders on that goes along with ignoring the trenches while our division rival bolsters theirs.

They pulled these guys off the couch and they're playing 40% of the defensive snaps and having a meaningful impact on the game meanwhile our defense is struggling to get a quarterback sack while we watch the Eagles sack our quarterback six times.

And I don't give a flying spit I'm going to repeat it a hundred times because we had the opportunity to fix a problem and we let it go.

It's the attention to detail that gets you beat and teams that want to win the Super bowl go all in shoot the works and make every effort to get what they need.

In the end what's it going to be our inability to stop the run or clock management at the end where our players run out of bounds instead of staying in and keeping the clock running or run plays into the sun and blind our players so they can't catch the ball.

All these details add up when you get to the playoffs You can bull spit your way through the regular season to a degree but when everybody's good is when it counts and that's where we always fail so I'm calling it how I see it before it happens.

What if Wash needs to win its last game to grab a wildcard , You start your starters play hard and defeat them to deny a playoff spot to a division rival . You don’t go Doug Pederson and play Nate Seinfeld for goodness sakes .

No, you rest your starters… Which 18 essentially becomes a second bye week. And it was Sudfeld.

We need to be ahead by two scores late… So the intellectual brilliance of Dak and Fred Flintstone don’t torpedo us

Suh should have been on this team on day 1. Our FO is either lazy or they just don't know what it will take to take this team to the top. Here is talking to you Capboy!!

They went out got Hankins . Injured now hopefully he helps in the playoffs . And a banged up Armstrong is effecting the pass rush . Armstrong needs both Tenn & Wash games off to get healthy .

Hankins was a good pickup. But Suh was there for the taking all along and we didn't do a damn thing. Also seem one step slower than the Eagles.

I hear that a couple scores gives us a good chance of overcoming any stupidity that rears its ugly head.
There's always some horrible penalty that they pull out of some book that came over on Noah's ark
Or an unexpected turnover combined with some ridiculous clock management.

Just don't see why we have to make things harder on ourselves than it has to be just a little preparation and planning goes a long way

Our Defense needs to go back to going after the qb. With them using the backup qb we should have brought it. We started getting ran on and our DE slowed down to see if they are running or passing. Parsons is tired. He needs to be rested. We can’t enter the playoffs with our Defense playing like this. If not for the turnovers we were screwed. Dak threw the early pick but played lights out after that. Took a few sacks. Needs to use his legs more..

Yep the guy only plays when he wants to but he's a dominant individual to contend with and if he sees a Super bowl win in his future that's another piece in the puzzle to get him a gold jacket in his mind.

I can see him going all out like he did for Tom Brady.

At the least he would have provided a better option than anything else we had.

Now everyone will say because this was a division game and the Eagles have the best record in the league why would I be surprised the game was close.

The Eagles turned the ball over four times and we're starting their second string quarterback.

The game was so close because the Eagles trenches outplayed our trenches They had six sacks and we had zero.

Dak put this team on his back and after his early mistake did everything in his power with his arm and legs to win this game for us .
Saying he was physically dominating is an understatement.

All that said our defense is somewhat of a concern because of its health The Eagles showed that they made a great move by signing Suh and Linville Joseph as they are getting roughly 40% of the defensive snaps and making an impact on their defense.

Jerry sat on his hands and let the eagles out maneuver us just when our defense was getting banged up. If we can't get healthy by the playoffs this could be our undoing letting the Eagles beat us in this chess match of defensive free agents.

They already have the best offensive line They just line up at the goal line tell everybody they're going to run and do it.

We have the talent in so many areas and had the opportunity to get the talent to take us over the top granted our coaching in the clutch is horrible poor Micah couldn't even get a timeout when the defense was totally gassed
I think it would have been nice if somebody would have let everybody know on offense to avoid going out of bounds and make the clock run I mean McCarthy could do something constructive like that.

Hey nobody's happier than me about getting a win over the Eagles on Christmas Eve but I see the foreshadowing of what's to come and it's concerning

Thoughts??
Every team has warts. Ours is the defense. We have a dominating offense led by Dak but a banged up defense. However some of those players will be back for the playoffs hopefully.

I would go a step further and say the defense is a monumental concern, they haven't been able to stop anybody in a long time. To me that says that Quinn can't overcome the injuries we've sustained and this isn't likely to get much better. Don't know whether the coaches and front office should have seen this coming, seems like this lack of CB depth has been a concern since before the season and they didn't do anything to rectify it.... losing 2 starting CBs shouldn't be so crippling IMO.

I'm all about that using his legs more needs to happen He's got to run till they put a spy on him and stop him and that will open up the middle of the field more.

He did good yesterday and ran when we needed it but he needs to keep that in mind all the time we can't go three and out he has to move the chains.

The defense is worn down and they can't be continually thrown back on the field he has to move the chains and get first downs and he can do that with his legs and our running game.

Yes it certainly seems like the pendulum has swung back the other way in the beginning the defense was protecting the offense and winning the games now the offense has to protect the defense until it gets healthy at least.

I don't really view our defense as a wart it was a dominating force at one time it has just become injured and worn down and needs to be protected by the offense for a while until it gets healthy.

We could have helped our situation by adding some more free agents but we chose to sit on our hands it's not the defense's fault they sustained injuries it's the front offices fault for not acting on the opportunities we had in front of us

Prescott and Diggs spotted the best Defense in Football 10pts for Hurts downgrade.

We had the best QB on the field

Surprised? You always say that refs artificially keep games close. Plus, we already established that Goodell wanted the Cowboys to win no matter what so the Eagles still have something to play for these last few games to garner wider-spread interest. Need to stay consistent, Blackrain. Lol.

The defense has been a strength for much of the year.
The 4 turnovers (and essentially 24 points) handed to our offense yesterday were pretty nice too.
Sure, they've hit a rough patch here or there, but they're good.

Fortunately the refs didn't need to do anything with this game it was very close as it was They pretty much stayed out of this game very few penalties which made it a good game to watch.

I think this game was hyped about as much as it could be considering the Eagles were playing their backup quarterback it was very nice that this was one of the games that was not manipulated

Yep at this point we just need to get him some rest and get them healthy and see how the chips fall in the playoffs.

Suh and Joseph don't do much for the pass rush, only the run game. We only gave up 87 yards on the ground and held Sanders to 3 yards a carry. That was without LVE who has been a stud in the run game. Where we have been lacking is in getting pressure on the QB
Hurts adds a whole other dimension to their run game. But, they risk injury to Hurts by running him so much.
