Couple of comments:
-From recent history with the Cowboys front office, we have seen them show major interest with elite athletes, the ones who have the highest sparq scores.
-I do like Patrick Surtain. He is a very polished corner who should make an immediate impact. He maybe one of the safest prospects in the entire class, but he has limited upside, in which he may never become a true #1 CB. Many believe he lacks the speed, quickness to cover the shifty receivers and has average ball skills. The comp I hear most about Surtain is Bryon Jones. He is a terrific player, but might not get much better.
-Many NFL Teams draft elite traits over production. They believe if the natural talent is there, they will coach them up to reach their high potentials. Farley, for instance, might be the most riskiest CB out of the top 3, cause he is more of a projection of his high potential. He is a very similar prospect to CJ Henderson who the Cowboys loved last season.
-The Joe Whitt Factor. Keep in mind, Whitt was a Packer Assistant for many years under MM. You look at the two drafts after he departed, what type of corners his team has drafted: Greedy Williams with the Browns, AJ Terrell with the Falcons, both players have great size/length and possess elite speed.
