Hand times? Cool...so add about a tenth of a second to it and that probably closer to what he would’ve run at the combine.

4.53 is right around what I would’ve expected.

Maybe, but hand times aren't that accurate, the reaction time of the "clicker" comes into play. Some will be clocked faster than they really are, some slower.
Can't just say the hand times are always faster than electronic times...

Surtain has the physical abilities to play man and the intelligence to play within zone schemes. At 6'2" he has the size and has plenty of quickness to react and 4.5 speed is good enough to do what will be asked of him.

Agreed, and intelligence, especially "football smarts" has a lot to do with playing cornerback in the NFL as well...

Stupid gets you beat quicker than anything. How to work within the zone and the responsibility you have takes football smarts to be effective within the zone coverages.

Agree to an extent, but they are almost always faster.
