If you go back and watched the LSU matchup from 2019, the only time he got burned, it looked like he was expecting safety help.

Either he got the defensive call wrong or the safety did.

Surtain is going to be a zone corner. What's your point? Surtain will legit be playing the exact same coverage schemes Sherman was. Also, Sherman's positive test was overturned and the league determined he did not violate PED policy.

I would not be surprised to see Surtain go at #4 after today. Depends what Atlanta's game plan is after they doubled down on their thin Ryan/Julio core. Either way, he looks very likely to be the first defender taken.

It would surprise me. He probably goes between 10 and 12.

He's NFL ready. I've never seen a stream of elite Wrs come out of one school like Alabama had during Surtains tenure. So, he's been going against multiple first round pick WRs every practice for 3 years.

That and the way Alabama runs their matchup zone he was on an island a lot. This is not like at DL and LB where one gets so much help from their team mates.

Im not worried about Surtains times really. Give us a little better pass rush and all these cb's will benefit. Surtain is fine and Id take him at 10 in a heartbeat

Horn is also looking solid. Cowboys look to be in a good spot at 10. They can either take a corner or an offensive tackle there or they can trade back and still get a corner. I hope they snag one of the top corners and get Richie Grant as well and either get a 1 technique at 75 or 99. My dream would be corner, Grant, running back Kenneth Gainwell at 75, and 1 technique at 99. I think that Gainwell has the potential to be the best pass receiving back in the league which would make him outstanding on 3rd downs and the 2 minute offense.
