Hamstring injuries are rampant. Look.

He's not qualified for the PUP list.

And secondly he's the #5 receiver. He ain't getting many snaps in the starting offense.

Even without practicing much over the past 3 weeks there's no doubt in my mind he could go out vs. the Giants and run the 2 or 3 plays the offense has for him. And he plays the slot and not outside. He has a limited number of routes (at this point) he needs to know.

He then stood and watched 7 on 7 and 11 vs 11 in warm ups which was odd. I thought he would at least get in some reps.

Well he's not Zeke. Fair enough that he is our only choice on special teams, which is a bad position to be in, but he needs reps.

If he doesn't take a rep all preseason but is standing under the first punt in the Giants game......sorry any Cowboy fan should be nervous, cause he will probably be sweating bullets.

This is a bit over blown. If they have determined he can play at a high level and help the team (like Zeke did last year) you don't force him to play and injure the hamstring further. Better to have him healthy for than to force him to play out of some sense of "he needs to play".

No more ridiculous than placing him on some type of injury list....because he's injured. Every guy on the team.....Right now.....can use your description of "high level for 4+ years"....i.e. Kellen Moore.

As for him being a good/great returner.......we ain't seen it at this level yet or at all.

No one saying he should be cut.....but if I got a healthy player right now....does the healthy one get cut next week due to roster limitations?

I think anyone who thought he would pass Brice Butler on the depth chart even without the injury, hasn't been paying attention.

Doesn't make Brice any less of a scrub though. Don't be shocked when Switzer slices Butlers playing time in half by mid season
