Any smart business man would let T.O. workout for a day or two, then make a decision. Who or what does it hurt to see what/what not today's T.O. can do or not, especially since we are lacking of firepower with our receiving crew?

From the article:
Cowboys ex Terrell Owens, a Pro Football Hall of Famer, wants to play in the NFL again and become the oldest player to do so.

Legendary Hall of Fame wide receiver Terrell Owens is eyeing a potential comeback at age 49 and has set his ambitions on playing for the Dallas Cowboys for the second time, according to NFL sources.

What are the odds Jerry would even give him a tryout..? Don't get me wrong, I don't think there's any way in hell, Jerry would actually sign him, but do you think he'd give him a tryout..?

I may not have a popular opinion, but I liked T.O. as a player when he was here. I can admit he was terrible for morale, & "the locker room", but he did produce. I'd even go so far as to say, he had a LOT to do with Romo breaking out. There haven't been too many WR's have a season like he did.

3 seasons (2008-10): 38 TD's, & 3587 yds
WHY NOT?????????? It wouldn't hurt to get him in a game or two. TO is in GREAT shape and could probably run a route or two. LOL!!!!!

Signing TO was one of the best decisions this front office made. Circus and all. That being said....no. Let this team do them stop distracting them with divas like Odell and TO.
Jerry giving him guaranteed money was the mistake. TO was manageable when he was on a one year deal.

I doubt our FO will accommodate TO in the days ahead. We've already been there and done that. Let's not mess with our chemistry.

someone tell TO there is opening in the janitor department...he needs to show he can push the broom fast enough...if he does, he has a job.

I’m sure everyone calls Jerry looking for a tryout. Just go look at the list of players he’s taking on over the years.

Parcells discussed it previously. As TO got older it started to show along with the drops.

I think Owens trouble was getting off the line quick enough vs running routes. I would probably attribute the INT rate more to qbs forcing Owens the ball because he made it clear he wanted it.

At this point I can't see anyone signing him. Maybe if you were a team just looking for buzz in what has been a down season you have little to lose. Im sure people would tune in to see what he can do. But there's not much else attractive about a player with declining skills and a self centered attitude.

Let get real this is TO wanting attention, he is not coming back, the dude is 47 has not played a down in the NFL since 2010.

Hell may as well bring Randy White back in, the guy is still jacked. lol

My mistake he is 49 years old, closer to getting social security than returning to the NFL

His age caught up to him several years ago. TO like Dez was never a great route runner and they won with great athletic skill. TO had average hands, especially at the end. Add losing a step, average hands, and now almost 50? Please hang up and tell TO to call elsewhere.
Nothing was average about him at all, the hands thing, another narrative as they say the same thing about Lamb and its UNTRUE,, dudes like 3rd all time and a gold jacket wearing member of the NFL..he was fast for his size, in the best shape ive seen any athlete in 24-7, dedicated to get healthy ie one of the first NFL players willing to sleep in hyperbolic chambers to heal, no Offield incidents ever, and caught most balls thrown his way.. right dont go get Jamar chase hes always in the top 5 in drops..he sux lol

on actually taking this request seriously, no not really hes older, hasn't payers in a long time so that's is now his weakness. we got Hilton and now have healthy and ready wr staff..

The mistake was signing him to a multiyear contract. It was fine when TO could opt out every year if he wanted without hurting us on the cap...once he signed the multiyear deal and things weren't going well he felt trapped and that is the formula for his disruptive behavior.

Having a HOF receiver and a HOF coach in the early part of Romo's career helped him greatly. I don't think Romo would be a ROH (I think Jerry inducts Romo, Dez, Ware, Witten and Jimmy Johnson in the coming years) player that he became without those two, along with Witten.

I didn't like TO at all before he came here. Not my style of player. I vowed to quit watching them if they signed TO. After 5 games or so I bought his jersey and broke out the popcorn. Lol The dude is a bad *** that's for sure!
