Yup.

Either way, here's what I think:

Yeah, I jumped on you a little early for your comments about Roy. With all the ultra-negative news coming out about RW, I just thought you were trying to incite us all.

Either way, I was wrong, and I apologize.

Still though, I don't agree with the talk about how TO should get suspended. Fined, yes, give him a heavy fine, but in no way should he be suspended. All this talk about "Hall being the bigger man" is complete crap too.
I appreciate your honesty.

I honestly did intend my comments to be a reference to what other teams fans seem to think of Roy.

As far as T.O., I think he should be given the same consequence that Sean Taylor recieved for the same act.
But my posts were statements on those who were defending T.O. with comments like, "so what, you got spit on, big deal...".
I was tryng to shed light on how biased some are when it comes to classless acts like these. The same people had an entirely opposite response when Taylor did it. Calling for his head.

Bottom Line:
Hall = extremely overrated
Owens = classless loser
Williams = The Man

Oh ok, I understand and fully agree.

It just seemed like you were attacking those who didn't want a suspension. Now I see.

Sorry for the confusion.

PS: And I don't have 3 Nobel Prizes :D

He spit, but Hall wasn't able to cover himself.

Of all the goofy stuff on both sides of the TO/Spit argument.

This was the best post of all.

Thanks for a great laugh.

He most likely spit on him by accdident.

That's what I'm betting on. Probably happened during all the jaw flapping between the two and was probably an accident.

Suspensions are tough because there has to be malicious intent and since I have not seen a video or pic of the incident it is going to be tough for the NFL to levy a suspension and have it get by the NFLPA because of precedence. Since TO does not have a track record of vile transgressions against NFL rules it would be tough to support suspending him. They may give him a record fine but he has no track record that would say he is prone to such transgressions.

I don't understand why they just don't go by precedent. What did they give Romanowski or Sean Taylor?

Im watching ESPN right now and i find it hilarious than Jaws and Ditka say that he should have met T.O after the game and deliverd a whoopin. What a pair of *******es, id LOVE to see Hall try to beat up on Owens!!! Owens would a bigger whoopin on Hall in a fight than he did on the field. Yea it would be bad...

If Owens was suspended the rest of the season and it cost us a Superbowl, I could live with that. Not everyting in life is about winning. Eventually, all of us will die so how you handle yourself in life is as important as winning in my opinion. Spitting on a player might be the Raiders way, it might be the Steelers way but it's not the Cowboys way. You can still be tough and intimidating without resorting to thuggery. Owens is a thug and I would never buy his jersey. I can't wait until that psycho Bob is off this team.

All the guys on NBC think TO will be suspended.

How huge would that be on Christmas Day? :mad:

If that happens, I predict this board will be swamped with Owens apologists castigating the NFL for picking on "poor little TO".

If Taylor didnt get suspended last year, then there is NO WAY IN HELL T.O should get suspended here.

I'm pretty sure TO is bipolar which would explain why he spat in the players face. He was probably experiencing a manic high at the time. During manic periods, patients will resort to irrational behavior based on the extreme high they are feeling. Bipolar patients have manic highs and depressing lows, which is also why TO will go into these depressive moods despite having no reason to do so. It also relates to his suicide attempt. Alcohol exacerbates depression and bipolar disorder. When bipolar patients are going through their depression period, drinking alcohol will just make it worse.

What's interesting is that many benzodiazepams and other antidepressants are very safe even in extreme overdose. However, if you combine even a moderate dose of benzodiazepams with alcohol, it's extremely toxic.

Bipolar disorder is hard to diagnose. A lot of people go undiagnosed with this condition so it wouldn't suprise me at all if he is bipolar.

People need to relax, Hall has talking alot of trash to TO. In love and war all is fair. If TO hit Hall he would get a penalty maybe kicked out, so what's the next worst thing you can do to someone, spit on them. This action clearly got Hall out of his game, if Hall would have retailated, 2nd man always gets caught. So what TO did actually was very smart. What he did was clearly not good and I would explain to any kids watching that what TO did was wrong. Has TO ever been arrested, DWI, spouse abuse, guns, etc. Not a single problem off the field. Terrell has plans for TO, it's all exposure and marketing. ESPN feeds off it to increase advertising revenues. TO has done nothing out of the ordinary this year, Mora's comments are 10x worse than anything TO has said since he's been in Dallas. TO produces on the field, plays hurt. Drops happen to the best of them. TO gets more passes thrown his way thus his drops will be higher. Look at all the other things that's happened in the league, Cinncy and SD for example. Look at other players who are sitting out not wanting to risk injury. If TO was hurt, you think he would sit out vs. Philly. Stop hating on TO. Without him, the cowboys would not win the NFC East.

wikipedia says Sean Taylor was fined 17,000 (his paycheck for the week) and not suspended. No way TO can get suspended (even though I think he should be).
