Taco Bell Is Not Mexican Food

It is a Canadian thing, my wife is from Calgary and hates Mexican food, but likes taco bell.... Nothing against taco bell because I like it, but authentic Mexican food blows away taco bell. Up in Alberta they serve french fries with their taco bell as a side and have really zero Mexican restaurant

I haven't eaten at Taco Bell since I've moved to NY.

I used to eat their Mexican Pizza's and somewhat enjoyed them. I also used to eat their chicken Quesadillas, but in all honestly, they were horribly bad.

While I miss a lot of the good Tex-Mex food from Texas, I do NOT miss Taco Bell. The Mexican food here in NY is bland for the most part. (ie, not Tex-Mex)

I do have one restaurant I go to. They aren't great, but it's acceptable. Better than most I've been too.

Yep, alcohol can tall you a girl is really pretty too. Then you wake up and find out her name is Hambone.

It was probably the effects of alcohol whether you were actually drunk or not. That stuff is just terrible.

No question about it Taco Bell is not Mexican food it is fast food junk but some of it is pretty good but not real Mexican Food.

Yes and no. Yes if you get the right thing it can *taste* good, but no because they use piss poor quality meats.

I like their Barbacoa, especially in Tacos. (tasty with a little spiciness) The problem is the Tacos cost the same as the Burritos or Burritos Bowls, but are far less filling.

I do eat the Burrito/Burrito Bowls too, but sometimes I don't want the rice and wish the Tacos were more filling. I would buy two orders of it, but costing the same price means it just isn't worth it.

For a chain place there's one here called La Salsa that is just as good as Chipotle and maybe even a little better because there is more than just burritos and tacos.

Neither of them are half as good as a good family restaurant that really knows how to cook Mexican food. I try to avoid chain restaurants most of the time.

I do remember one time when I got something at Taco Bell that I really liked. No wait, that wasn't me.

I eat Qdoba which is pretty much the same thing.

Their burritios used to be really good and filled full when they first started up by me. Now that they have been here a few years they are just alright...

Who knew you had such a sophisticated pallet. :

I imagine I would enjoy the family restaurants but the price and sit down time is annoying. Also I dont like going out to eat.
