Quick question. If coaches can't find a spot for the best defensive player in the draft, is that the fault of the coaches or the player?

Have to firmly disagree with Nate here. Reminds me of Ike Reese former Eagles player that does radio in this area. Constantly spouts nonsensical rhetoric.

Sure the hell isn't Elliott

I don't get the Elliot hype either but enough really smart people have him touted as an elite prospect that i'll just concede to it even though he looks like the protypical 1st round RB that belongs in the pick 20-early second round range.

Whats crazy about him though is he is 6'0 230... I'd never guess that. He also runs a 4.4. 32 inch vert is poor though.

I find it hilarious people are scared of Jalen because he CAN play every position in the secondary and possibly LB in nickel. Isn't that a good thing?

It's not like he's incapable of playing CB or S. It's just how he can best help the team. Again, that's a good thing.

Cowboys already have a player like that, Byron Jones. And they drafted him with their first round pick last year. Will adding another Jones type player improve the D immediately to contend for championships?

They're praying someone in the top 10 folds and makes a solid offer. And I think it happens.

Jerry was a little too adamant the other day about them not having interest in moving down. You may be on to something.

I can't believe all of a sudden they would invest such a premium pick in a RB after the whole Murray fiasco.

No but he's a piece that if you draft well this year and do well in FA next year, could have Dallas with a Top 10 defense in 2017.

I know people don't want to hear it but Ezekiel Elliott isn't the difference between this team going from 4-12 to 13-3 and SB champs in a year either.

Adding Romo will help us compete for championships. I've never seen a rookie really push a team to contend for a championship.

What Ramsey provides is a matchup for whatever type of weapon the other team has.

Hopefully there would be no more Julio Jones dinking and dunking us over and over and over and over.

Just do not feel that the acquisition of Ramsey will make Cowboys secondary ELITE. That's a pretty strong no IMO. Not a fan of drafting EE at 4 spot either, but does drafting him make the running game ELITE? Possibly.

Bosa will not make DL elite either. Drafting Jack would make LB group elite. Tunsil should make OL even MORE elite than already is.

Your post is why I am on board with trading the pick if a deal presents itself. This draft is short on elite studs but long on depth in certain positions like TB, DL and even CB. Load up on more 2nd and 3rd rounders and if you do your job, you can find some real talent that might help more than just one player picked at 4.

Neither was Emmitt. Some times, the player goes to the perfect team and coach and becomes the generational player

Slow roll on Emmitt..... I was all over him for us.

Just don't trade down too far. If they could get Elliott and pick up another 2nd round pick (or high 3rd), I'd be thrilled.

Would love Lawson and elliot with our 1st 2 picks. Would be fine with elliot and ogbah also.

Ramsey and ogbah is Bueno also
