Do you prefer The Break or Talkin Cowboys? I like The Break better.
I really enjoy Nate on Talkin Cowboys because he's all about the football and detest all the noise like me. But overall The Break is the best football show.

The break is funny. Taylor will ask a question that doesn't make any sense and then try to blame it on the fans and say she got it off Twitter.

Nate pulled his I've played the game and the fans don't know what they're talking about card the other day. He said he wanted the Giants to beat Philly because he didn't want the Cowboys backing into a NFC east championship and a 1st rd bye. Like the Cowboys didn't win 11 straight to put themselves in the position to clinch early. Smh
I like both and Bluetooth on my long ride home everyday. IMO Nate Newton is a treat. He has an X players perspective that is very entertaining. Mickeys sharp but comes off as an agorant ***. Broadus uses "though" too much and makes him sound ignorant, but actually he provides insite beyond the statistical numbers.

I love The Break. I try to listen to Talkin Cowboys, but the show is just too slow with Nate on it.

I think Break is definitely the superior show. Spagnola just ruins whatever show he's on. Taylor Stern is an enigma to me. I thought she did a great job of growing into her role, and then took a wrong turn recently.
I think you hit the nail on the head there. The three guys let her get away with some stupid ****, whether it's about the history of the team or NFL rules and that can be annoying but she at least tried to improve. Less is certainly more with her.

The Break. Taylor says some weird things at times but is cute. Broaddus can seem like a ****** at times too but is very knowledgeable. I like Derek and nick too

She forgot her role, which is to look pretty and say little. ;)

Definitely. And for me, it's like she took two steps forward, and then a step back. Again, not sure if it's a lack of maturity, or something that someone behind the scenes mistakenly told her to do.

Nate Newton, "I try to tell people." He says that 10 times a show. It's so annoying

I like the break better but listen to both. I think Talkin Cowboys got better when they got rid of Lindsay. As I always said about both shows I dislike the stumbling bumbling callers moreso than the shows but that's most call in shows where cats are oftentimes too nervous, boring, or long winded when they call.

Some of y'all get emotional and hear any ole thing don't y'all? He said he didn't care about if the Eagles won or not and how he would feel regarding rooting for the Eagles. I'm not saying he didn't say what you said but you are misrepresenting what was meant by mixing up things he said to fit your narrative. You also know Nate doesn't always get his point across the greatest. Sounds like he made you upset cause you feel like a fan that don't know what they're talking about.

Couple of Nate Newton'isms said in the past few months (not joking) that had me laughing hysterically.

"Van Diesel baby!!!" --- in regard to the movie Van Helsing he had recently watched.

"Man, I don't give no cadence (he meant to say credence) into that [...]"

I stopped listening to Talkin Cowboys this year. Spags has gotten too cranky and become such a shill, that it's mostly worthless. As much as I like Nate as a player (and I suppose he's a good person), I can't stand listening to him. It very rare that the says anything of any worth, and even then it takes forever to get out, with the repetitive speaking pauses and random yelling that blows my ears out if I'm listening via earbuds. I used to listen to both podcast a few hours after they air. Good to listen to on the drive home and during lunch.

I do listen to the Break every time though. I'm a fan of Derek and Nick. Broaddus has some insights that outweigh his occasional obnoxiousness. As a personality, I don't think Broaddus is someone I'd get along with. Every time we says "I'm just sayin" or "I don't disagree" I want to punch him through the internet. For crying out loud, how hard is it to say "I agree"? It's always turned into "I don't disagree" which carries a reluctance and superiority to it. But like I mentioned, he does bring a perspective that others don't.
I think Taylor tries pretty hard to know the game. I don't really have a problem with her aside from vocal fry (which is distracting). Dave and Rob are good additions.

I have to admit Taylor is becoming increasingly annoying. She really surprised me with her knowledge to start year but now she is having bunch ill timed comments (on show & on twitter) and generally isn't staying in flow of conversation. She will try to be funny or cute that comes off awkward. If she were football player I would say she is on bubble for next year.
I agree with this completely. I was really surprised by Taylor's insights early on (preseason and the first few weeks) but that seems to have run low.

...or as Broaddus would say "I don't disagree with that statement (*unspoken, I still think you a wrong, but I'll give you this one moment)."

I still haven't figured out Helman dynamics on the show. They treat him like under-achieving college student who comes in late and leaves early. Everyone takes shots at him. He is by far the most popular on twitter and his analysis is often on mark when he comes into studio. I know Lindsey Cash wanted to do some type of show with him and that was birth of Cover 4.
I like Helman because he is pretty even handed, not too much of a homer and not too negative either. Plus, he is not afraid to admit he might be wrong.

I like Broaddus' insights, but he interrupts others way too much.
