What'shave to do with Romo and Talking Cowboys?
the answer is always pie.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jerry actually floated that trial balloon out there to stir the pot and force the Texans to play their hand. They did. Big ... time.
That Jerry. The old coot still got it.
The Romo era is over, deal with it. Even if we see him as the starter, the club screwed up again. Its Daks team. Either jump off the ledge or find another team, this team should be pointing up, not sideways to make some fans happy.
And how are they gonna compete? In practice, where the defense doesn't hit? Or in preseason. When teams go vanilla in offense/defense. I myself think Dak would win. He'll have much better knowledge of the offense and more confidence in his game.

It's not really about the Romo era in Dallas. Though I don't agree that there's no chance he remains here. It is really, really unlikely, though.
This thread has absolutely nothing to do with the Romo era.
People are allowed to follow the team and have a different opinion than yours, BTW.

Dak could study 18 hours a day every day until the start of the season and he'd still be no where near Romo's league in recognizing opposing defenses.
This is not a knock on Dak it's just lack of experience.

from how they express their views on romo even mickey, none of them even mention a offer of hope of romo as a starter in dallas. seems like dallas has turned the page with dak as their guy.Just hold a QB competition this offseason and let the best player win. I think Romo wins it, but I'm not sure how many games he would end up starting due to his age and recent injuries. I think Dak would handle being Romo's backup fine.

even if he wanted to start, i say let Jerry say "yes Tony, right on, come on my boy" and walk with him right out of the building. give him a map and get back to business. And i was a romo fan before it was cool to be one. its over. thats it. Its Daks team now we screwed Dak and EE hard, now we gotta repent and hope we do right by it.
Romo knows the whole playbook like the back of his hand and is the most confident guy on the team. Dak does good to get Linehan's game plan down week to week. No rookie, even ROY is going to have more confidence than Romo does at quarterbacking this team. Dak got the job because Romo and Kellen Moore got hurt, he doesn't have that advantage anymore. You and reality............
how many hours does Romo have in film study and yet throws that 1 interception? thats not a knock on Romo, its just fact.
