I'm so not worried about this game. The Bucs have improved but I'm still not completely sold. I also feel like we dictate how things go and teams don't dictate or control the games against us. If we play like we have been playing and execute our game plan the other team can have all these great stats but it just doesn't matter.

11 days ago, Prescott faced the league's #3 pass defense in Minnesota. Last night against the Giants, he went up against the league's #2 pass defense, according to Defensive Passer Rating.

Next he's about to face a pass defense that leads the entire NFL in the second half of the season (games 9-13). Over their last 5 games, the Bucs are 5-0 and have allowed a passer rating of 62.5.

97 of 161 60.2% 999 yd 4 td 10 int 62.5
great news percy, just what we needed to hear lol.
They should just start romo and see how he does against them. that way we can warm up the old bkup.
making dak play tampa, and then start romo against detroit isnt the same. stafford hurt his throwing hand.

but I know they will start dak, so will wait and see what happens.

That's fine. They can be as good against the pass as they want. I want us to look like a combination of the 1946 Army team and the 1960s Green Bay Packers this week. Run the ball with your platoon of running backs. Give Zeke 25 carries, McFadden 10 and Morris 10. Mix up the formations, and don't try to get cute too often. We're not going to get far in the playoffs trying to toss the ball around with a rookie QB. Run the ball. Even if you stall out the first couple drives, keep running, the defense will wear down eventually. If we would have kept pounding it against the Giants, we would have won.

Also, anyone know when Hanna is getting back? Great point of attack blocker.

I implore anyone with All 22 to watch that Tampa Bay defense play the last 4 games. Mike Smith is doing a great job.

The Bucs will be an extremely tough test no matter the QB. I want to see how Dak responds to adversity. I think we're better than 80% of CZ gives us credit for. Last night was a winnable game.

Feed the beast and make them stop the run.

We have to get our passing game going if we're going to score enough points to win games. Our passing attack has really tailed off and although Zeke put up over hundred yards last night we only managed 7 points and that was in the passing game. We have to get our passing attack back on track or this season could end up like the 2007 season. Our passing game started to fizz out in Dec of that year and we never got it back on track.

We went from averaging around 32 points a game to 14 points in 07. We were averaging just over 27 points after the Thanksgiving game and have only scored 22 points the past two games. We're in funk offensively and we have three games to try and come out of it before the playoffs.

Lions have a better overall d than the buccs and giants
The Lions have one of the worst defenses per possession. The Giants have one of the best. The Bucs are middle of the pack, but have greatly improved over their last 5 games

Those who are chanting for Romo are wasting their time this is Dak's team and the Cowboys are going to live or die with him this season. The decision has already been made. Dak had his first poor game last night and he didn't get any help from his receivers. Church dropped what would have been two INT's and we pretty much gave the Giants the game. We have receivers and DBs who can't catch or hang onto the damn ball.

I like our chances against the Bucs a lot more than against the Giants in Jersey in the cold. A lot of strange stuff happened out there in the cold last night, so we need to beat Tampa Bay, win out and get home field advantage. It means something this year. No reason to believe we won't get things back to normal back in the friendly -- and warm -- confines of AT&T. I do hope McFadden is ready to go to help keep our running game going when Zeke is taking a break. Something's up with Morris -- not one carry last night.

And our OL pass blocking seems to be getting worse.

Hanna's not coming back... On IR.
