Tashard Choice is pissed with his role

Reporters were askin him a bunch of questions about how he felt with his role and he kept saying " I dont know man" then stated he was pissed and he doesn't know if hell still be here or if theyll stick with the 3 runningback rotation. Im all for keeping Choice over Barber, I think hes younger fresher and much more likeable with not just the fans but teammates as well. What do you guys think will happen? Do we cut Barber or Choice, or keep them both? Barber was awsome and it would suck to see him go but whatevers best for the team is what i'm for.

Didn't Barber just sign a deal a couple of years back? If one has to go, I am all for keeping Jones and Choice. Young backs who can help the team. Ever since Barber took over the starting role he has never really been the same.

imo Barber needs to go cause he knows he's not what he once was just a couple seasons ago. the dude celebrates 5 yard runs as if they were tds. rb is the easiest position to replace and we already have 2 good ones in Jones and Choice. Barber is nothing but a good pass protector these days. he's not a td machine anymore and hasn't ever ran for 1,000 yards in a season. even Brandon Jacobs has run for a 1,000 yards. the guy has also lost his balance cause he just fell down on many plays that could have been big plays this season. if his only value is he's good in pass protection and he pumps up the team with his ra-ra crap after his 5 yard runs than I think it's time to get rid of him.

This is very miss leading cause not one time in that interview did he say he was pissed about his role on the team.

He said he was pissed about the loss. He never said he anything like that about his role.

In fact he said the situation at runningback was cool and he later said he didn't know if they'd keep them all, or what the rotation would be, cause it's a business and you never know how that stuff will go and he said something about knowing he can play, he does know that.

The guy clearly wants more touches, as any playmaker would, but he didn't say anything about being pissed about his role on the team and pretending he did is silly.

people are in total agreement off a subject line that's wrong but this will somehow keep coming up that choice is pissed off at his role cause the thread lasted so long.

Barber's production has fallen off ever since he became the starter. His style just isn't suited for it. Felix should be the starter. He's a future star in this league if he can stay healthy.

Yer right, he hasn't had those high-yardage seasons. But, generally, he has always shared the position, thus fewer yards.

But I do have to say, that, given a choice among the three, Barber is the odd man out.
The Jones and Choice lads are younger and I think are better options if you want a 1-2 punch approach.
Barber has enough good years left that any team would want this battering ram. A trade would be great, cap permitting, so our game plan can focus on Jones or Jones/Choice.

I have a better idea. let Jones and Choice get all the carries and if one of them get hurt then let Barber Play.

Next season I doubt the RB roles are the same. Choice needs more carries as does Felix, and Barber needs to be relegated to the role of a closer/short yardage back.

Some of you need to seriously go look at the cap numbers if you thing MBIII is ssssoooo expensive to our cap... I'll just tease you with the fact that the Falcons FB, Jaguars back up RB, and the Raiders back up RB all have significantly higer cap numbers than Barber does...

too much just like Barber. rb is the easiest position to replace and we already have 2 good ones in Jones and Choice. Barber is too slow. they should get rid of both these 45 million dollar bums in Marion and Roy but Jerry had to go and overpay as usual. Jerry sure has come a long way from being stingy with contracts to overpaying for players like Barber,Roy,Hamlin and Newman.

We need to try to get something for Barber if we can.

The cap figure is only a small part of the equation.

The big problem is that Barber isn't better than Choice and he's far below the level of Jones.

To give Barber a single carry is a form of theft against the other two.

Him pocketing $4 mil per season the next two years and taking a roster spot are just icing on the cake.
