I haven't watched him and no nothing about the guy. Is he a Steve Smith type of guy (small but a little bit like a bowling ball) or is more of a Reggie Bush or Percy Harvin type of player? Darren Sproles?

Complete bust IMO

If you actually compare him to Ted Ginn you have lost me forever in any future evaluation of players because they are nowhere close to the same player other than being fast.

In terms of physical attributes, he's a lot like DeSean Jackson, but the way he will be used I think is more in line with Percy Harvin. Will be interesting to see if he is physical enough to be the same type of player as Harvin, especially if Minny drafts him.

No way.

This kid is an outstanding football player.

He's much more versatile and refined than Ginn ever way.

I do have my reservations about him long term, but he is going to make an impact.
I wouldn't be furious if he ended up in dllas, though I hate to see Harris get relegated to backup slot WR after finally starting to get playing time.
Plus I want oline or dline way before WR.
I wonder what percent of offensive plays per game we use 3 WRs? I assume about 50-60%, but someone here would know better.

I think what I am trying to say is, fast WRs do not translate into the 1st rd well. Steve Smith might be the guy you look at, when you think small speedster, but I am pretty sure, he was not a 1st rd pick. I think he is as overhyped as Reggie Bush was, and I do not think he will translate well in the NFL, unless he is in that perfect offense, which would probably be under Sean Payton.

Harvin minus the migranes and other diva baggage. This guy is a baller. Only question is how he holds up when every body that hits him outweighs him by between 30-130 pounds. Get him in space and he wins matchups 90% of the time.

This is what I want to see. Defenses are very fast and physical in the NFL at all positions. He is coming from playing at West Virginia, who played in the Big East and Big 12, neither conference known for defense.

Would not mind him here but we have way more pressing positions to tend to before WR in the 1st round.

Cross between DeSean Jackson and Darren Sproles. Love the guy, would have no qualms whatsoever if we picked him (assuming all OGs were gone).

I disagree, Austin is a playmaker..whichever team he goes to, he'll have an immediate impact imo

Doesn't remind me of Ted Ginn at all. Sure Tavon can be a bust. That is always a possibility, but his game is not similar to Ginn's.
