So when Dekker (68) stood in front of the camera post game and said he verbally communicated to the ref “I’m reporting” he was lying? Find it hard to believe the main characters in this play of confusion are liars. Regardless, game over and on to the next.
We do not know what was said or was heard. I heard people say things and others heard them as well. But 2 minutes later they denied saying it. Not they were lying, but they did not communicate it as they thought they did.

Come On now, it’s clear what happened. I talked to my college coach about it this morning and he clarified that you don’t need all three linemen up there to report eligible. He said that clearly Detroit was trying to keep Dallas off the radar of their trick play. Basically keeping it confusing a lil bit and needed up confusing the refs. He said when that happens at eh college and pro level, you only need to send one linemen to report not three. They tried something and it backfired. Move on. Prett much he said both the the Lions and the refs are at fault but the Lions made it really more complicated than it needed to be

So you don’t think #68, who said he reported as eligible here, actually did?

I never said that.

I think #68 100% reported.

The ref screwed up and said #70 reported though, so our defense rightfully thought #70 reported.

If the ref didn't screw up and said #68 like he should've then #68 wouldn't have been wide open in the endzone like he was.

Yeah it may well be that #68 actually was the one who said "report" but the other two morons being over there muddied the waters and the refs thought it was #70 talking to him because .. you know .. 95000 screaming fans.. Like I said I think the Lions tried to get cute and got caught..
Rex Ryan, Ted Bruschi, Alex Smith and Randy Moss all say the ref blew the call. But hey, I’m sure you know better than all of them. After all you scored 3 TDs in a flag football game 30 years ago, right.

Could be and that really sucks for them. I do concede the Lions didn’t help themselves by having Skipper run toward the official possibly making a gesture that commonly signals “I’m eligible” which probably initiated the entire mess.

Another fan (?) not happy we won, on the correct call.

This doesn’t quite make up for the Dez Bryant TD call they overturned in the playoffs but I’ll take it.

The tape shows him walking over to the official before the play. As Aikman said, there is no reason for him to do that unless he’s reporting. I’ll take it but we got that one gift wrapped. It’s about time a bad call went our way.

Both can report.

It was a jumbo formation.

I’m glad we won.

But the refs clearly rigged that play.

It’s a black eye for the sport.

More than 1 can report.

All 3 reported.

The ref messed up. Video clearly shows 68 reporting and ref with the head nod acknowledgement.

Feels weird to be on the winning side of a refs egregious call but ill take it.
