I don't really care how many dumb butts pile up. Use the truth and facts.
First, quit your crying for no trophy always. Joke.

Ever coached or played the sport...I can't really tell with all the crying you tear up with,
Does not mean you were all that at either, does it?
Sound like another Ginger
all clap and no championships

Solution to offense: draft Ashton Jeanty, generational player, Emmitt Smith with better moves and more speed. Heis instant offense. This kid is off the charts. He will transform the Cowboys' offense.

But winning more games will cause the team to lose out on the best RB with no one even remotely close.

Here is what this fan is paying attention to and not Puff the Magic Dragon in a football setting...

https://www.nfl.com/news/2024-nfl-s...ngs-to-watch-for-bengals-cowboys-monday-night

The Cowboys, who lost starting quarterback Dak Prescott earlier this season to a hamstring injury, nevertheless are riding a two-game win streak behind Cooper Rush. The Bengals, in contrast, have lost four of their last five, including last week's divisional defeat to the Steelers in a barnburner of a game.

Dallas D trying to build on last week against No. 1 offense. The Cowboys have dealt with their own defensive woes this season, actually ranking just above the Bengals in points allowed by giving up 28.3 points per game, tied for 29th in the league. However, Dallas’ most recent performance could be a signal of better things on the horizon. The Cowboys held the Giants to 247 yards and 20 points on Thanksgiving, the first time they’ve limited an opponent to fewer than 21 points since Week 5. They had six sacks -- led by Micah Parsons' 1.5 takedowns -- and two takeaways, including Demarvion Overshown’s 23-yard pick-six. That was the Drew Lock-captained Giants, of course, and this week they’ll be trying to replicate that success against Joe Burrow, which is a whole different ball game. But the Cowboys will be hoping the possible return of some key players could help in this endeavor. Cornerback Trevon Diggs (questionable; knee) hasn’t played the last two weeks, but he’s participated in a limited capacity in each of this week’s practices, leaving the door open for him to return this week. If he does, it will be the first time that Diggs and cornerback DaRon Bland take the field together this season, as the latter returned two weeks ago from a foot injury that had sidelined him since August.

Storylines aplenty for star wideouts. With the passing attack standing as the strength of each team’s offense -- the Bengals rank No. 1 and the Cowboys No. 7 in passing yards -- you can expect all eyes to be on the teams’ star receivers this week.

Ground game a struggle on both sides. While stars at the top of their game are the story for each team’s passing offense, the running games, in comparison, have been a letdown. The Bengals and Cowboys rank 27th and 31st, respectively, in rushing yards per game, making this a possible area for separation between two otherwise potent offenses.

*Dallas in the Red Zone and no penalties - Coaching
What does any of that have to do with what I asked?

Serious question. If you start the season with a functional offensive line like we have seen the last few weeks & an above average QB

1) what do you think our record is?

2) Do the stats say below average, average or above average?
“Above average QB” doesn’t have the same meaning to all.

Right. This wasn’t going to be a very good offense with everyone healthy.

No running game without a legit starting RB. No legit 2nd WR. And rookies starting on OL unproven . Holes and question marks throughout.
Seems he is in the same dilemma but seems to be able to carry his offense............at a cheaper cap rate to boot!!

Not really that's not an excuse those are facts app absolutely you are on the wrong side of this argument they're not trying to make excuses but the reason we have been worse the reasons we could have been better was because of injuries therefore it's not an excuse it's a fact it's a statement of fact the Dallas Cowboys would have been better had they not had all these injuries the San Francisco 49ers would have been better this year had it not been for major injuries if you can't say that without it sounded like an excuse that's on you literally it's the real reasons why teams struggle is when they lose not only their starters but they lose the depth behind those starters it's impossible in any sport to make up for that there's no way to do it especially in football with a hard cap you might be able to cover that up in baseball because you can buy so muchlike LA and NY do but no one's trying to make excuses they're stating facts the Cowboys season was derailed in 2020 why a rash of injuries it's called attrition when you're losing a lot of your best players and their backups it's hard to function as a coaching staff you literally are asking third string players to play against first stringers when you go into games and that is not an excuse that is an almost an impossibility you can occasionally step up like we did in the Washington game but on a consistent basis you're going to lose when you lose that many players this isn't losing one or two players this is losing like 18 different players some of them multiple times and some for multiple weeks it happens and few Out for the season.

Whenever someone brings it up and you come back with oh you can't say it's an excuse no we're going to say it's a statement of fact literally teams do not get better when they lose their starters that's a fact a handful of starters you might be able to cover that up but you aren't covering up what's happened to the Cowboys which is far worse than I think anybody in the league right now if you count every player and what they meant to this team I mean I know San Francisco has lost quite a few but most of the teams right now that are upright and considered the top teams they're also winning attrition...
Dam lover, enough said pass it over, nothing to see here

But that 7 point difference per game adds up and is critical. All NFL teams have an occasional bad game offensively but in our case we never seem capable of an offensive breakout game where the offense racks up points in bunches. We just don’t have the weapons even when healthy.

Averaging only about 20 pts per game in today’s NFL makes you a non-playoff team.
Giving up 28.3 points per game definitely makes you a none playoff team.

Aaron Rogers is in that situation too, how are the Jets doing again? The way teams play together matters more than the cap.

Youth today...you don't see the truth and just give up....hey, start paying the bills for being a fan. I don't buy into a crying routine instead. Don't like my comment, move on. :hammer:
I am just as old as you are, and your childish reply was not warranted.

How creative, insult by poetry...

A warrior's focus but you were tripped up by lost focus.
Weapon....45 cal pistol and kills.
Gun ,,, shoots joy and kills joy as a result.

A lot of football history is lost using your guns  No, not boxing. Boxing was a required sport at the Academy. I was required to box heavy weight, unlimited, because I was a linebacker. Sorry that isn't a wrongly cherished stat.

Know what used by a military guard for an air field? In the Cav, a 12 gauge. We played football in service as well.
You got to like that boxing a required sport at the academy .lol
it was a required sport in my neighborhood and sometimes you had to box heavyweight even when you are a middleweight.

Guys who were really in the military don't feel a need to reference it in every Post in a football forum.
Let's test your knowledge soldier how many springs are in 45 caliber 1911

I agree, but some CZ members are notorious for it. Detroit is dealing with a ton of injuries as well but have still managed a 12-1 record. Dallas (Jerry) simply sucks at dealing with adversity.
Dallas teams never really seem to be built to deal with adversity, usually very little quality depth, on field leadership is lacking, coaching seems unable to make adjustments when games are getting away from them. And the entire team including ownership is just one big excuse machine

Prescott is definitely no Josh Allen who I consiser one of the Elites in the league.

Jethro believes and pays our QB like he’s elite. Most fans would disagree.
