early in the year we played teams whose Ol were flawed. We caught Cincy at the right time and the Rams line sucked all year.. we feasted on the giants line and the commanders line. when we played a team with a good OL the vaunted cooper rush didnt fare as well. Many dak deniers use that 4-1 record as some sort of reference point as to how flawed dak is.hes flawed without a doubt but nowhere near as flawed as noodle arm. Our defense and kicker won those games. Then our kicker decided to do a disapearing act late in the year.
We definitely caught the Bengals at the right time, they looked bad in the opener and struggled the first part of the season. Lucky we didn’t catch them later in the season.

Hope so. If he can back the safeties off and command doubles that would be fantastic for the other WRs and the running game. I haven't watched the Texans that much to know if he had that affect.
This is what He provides to a team . . . Watching the Texans will not do Him Justice based upon that organization being a Train Wreck . . . He is a Small WR that plays wide which is indicative of His Speed and Route running abilities.

On the Plays a Safety does not Help out will be the plays He is open. . . And Vice Versa . . . He will create a lot of space dor this offense. . . . He allows Lamb to Work the Slot in which Lamb excels

His signing will be a win win all around

Of course He has lost some of His Amazing Speed but not All . . . The Cowboys have not had a Weapon that suits His Skill Set and if they were to draft one 2-3 years would be needed for development

Cooks is a Speedy Savvy Route running veteran . . . He will take this Offense to a new level

My argument is based on watching the game for the past 50 years and listening to former NFL QBs who played decades ago. Racking up stats don’t win football games. The QB has to make plays and put points on the board. QBs didn’t have to carry teams years ago the way they do now. Most of the rule changes have promoted scoring and you put points up in the passing game. Most of the QBs these days are dual threat with their arms and legs. They provide a huge percentage of their teams offense with rushing and passing. Good luck winning a Super Bowl these days with a Jim McMahon, Jeff Hostetler, or Trent Dilfer. Bob Griese won a Super Bowl throwing 11 passes.

Everything revolved around the running game back then but these days RBs have been devalued. Everything is being put on the shoulders of the QB. As for Nick Foles he’s the last average QB to win a Super Bowl but he didn’t play like an average QB. He played like a Hall of Famer putting up an MVP performance with 373 yards and three TDs with a passer rating of 106.1. He didn’t just sit back and hand the ball off he made plays! Nine of the last 10 QBs that have won the Super Bowl have a shot at the Hall of Fame. A few of them are locks.
QBs in this day and age wouldn't last with the old rules . . . They would be out of the league in a year or 2 . . The Passing Modern Game is a joke

QBs today are bigger and stronger and much better athletes than QBs decades ago. Some of these QBs today are the size of linebackers decades ago. They take a lot of big hits and keep on going despite the fact regular seasons are longer now.

Not all losses are on Dak, just the last two playoff games.
Ill give ya the last one but no way am i giving the year before the OL had 15 penalties and dak was the best QB on the field. Not the story in last years loss. although pollard going down literally stalled our offens eand made us a Ceedee or nobody team.

QBs now adays do not get Hit like the QBs of yester year . . . Which allows for the Purdy, Hurts, Murray and most likely #1 pick in this draft to be QBs

All this athleticism have made QBs out of people who do not have the Brain for it . . . But the "Fast Break" NBA made for TV rules has allowed for Stats and over rated and over paid Frauds who would never had made it under the Old Rules

Look who has won the Super Bowls. . . They have been traditional QBs . . . All these Modern QBs provide are a false hope and false belief that you actually have a QB

The NFL is a joke of what it was but it is what it is . . . You don't pay QBs like Prescott, Jackson, Murray and Hurts . . . You build a team and a system and then you ride the Athletic QB for all He is worth in His Rookie Contract . . . Dump Him . . . Collect Compensation . . . Rinse and Repeat

Unless you are lucky enough to draft a TRADITIONAL QB . . . Then you hold on tight

Problem with Dak is this:

He is Great until you need Him to be Great

Which is a condition of His that will never change no matter How Hopeful We as Fans are

QBs still take a lot of hits today, but they’re more rules to protect them. Most of the QBs today are mobile and once they become a runner they’re fair game unless they slide. Lamar Jackson has missed a number of games the past two seasons from taking hits. Cam Newton didn’t have a very long career from taking hits and the guy is huge! QBs have to be highly intelligent today with all the complex defenses they have to read. The game has become more complex and detailed every year. Traditional stand in the pocket QBs are fading. The NFL is a QB driven league and with all the passing that’s being done defenses are loading up on pass rushers. All the top QBs in the NFL are mobile. They make plays with their arms and their legs, which makes them very difficult to defend.

same with previous QB so perhaps its more than just QB.

Dak crapped the bed last year no doubt but no ones gonna confuse him with Mahomes. in most cases a QB isnt going to carry you he needs help. I wasnt completely sold on Mahomes till last year meaning that I think his system, coaches and players was as much responsible as he was but Im beginning to grasp that he a once a generation type talent.

I think too many look at him and see what they want here. If there was one thing Id like to take from KC besides PH it would be andy reid. We can win with dak if we fixed some other things but im beginning to think if it dont happen in next 2 years it isnt going to happen.

Rush can hold down the fort for a game or two (if everything goes right) but if you are relying on Rush to win playoff games you might as well just be smoking a cigarette on the sidelines.
Well he did it well fir 5 games....

But....very few teams have a b-up that can march into playoffs successfully.

Super bowl winners
Stafford, Brady, Foles, Eli and Payton Manning, Flacco, Roethlisberger, Brees

Where are your Modern QBs at? . . . Russel and Lamar maybe but both of them would have thrived in the Old Days

The Modern Game has created Fools Gold at the QB position. A False Hope

You have to go back a number of years to find the last Super Bowl Flacco, Brees, Roethlisberger and the Manning brothers won. Matt Stafford isn’t a statue and neither is Joe Burrow and they both competed in the Super Bowl two years ago. This past Super Bowl featured Mahomes and Hurts who are both very mobile. The top QBs in this draft are mobile athletic QBs. The game is different today.

"Featured" . . . Stop.

Malholmes is known for His Arm not His legs . . . Hurts is Fools Gold

I named all the Super Bowl Winners All in the Traditional Mold . . . Many Traditional QBs could Run as well so that is not the determining Factor

Ill agree to disagree . . . But my claim is the NFL has become a Joke and modern QBs are loved but over rated

Mahomes is known for his arm but he can also run. He makes a lot of plays with his legs. We’ve spent enough time on this we’ll agree to disagree. We’ve exhausted this topic.
