Technically we're picking 9th

Luck and RGIII will be the first two taken in the draft. After that, all bets are off.

I don't even think you can say Trent Richardson won't drop or that he won't be there for the Cowboys. I think if he is, Dallas will take him.

Remember how badly JG wanted Ingram? Trent is better than Ingram. And it's not certain that DeMarco Murray doesn't have a little Felix Jones injury bug about him.

Murray isn't going to be our next Emmitt. Trent, if he's there when we pick, will be.

dont worry about it Roy, i'm glad you saw my point, and yes we're picking 14th, i never said we werent, but in my opinion we arent getting the 14th best player according to our needs and wants.

I understand what you meant. It doesn't take a rocket science to figure it out.

Then again, maybe it does. We Cowboys fans sometimes operate more from the heart than from the brain. ;)

Can't wait to see how this plays out from rounds 1-7.

Anyway, good point (omitting tne wording) and Go Cowboys.

Technically you are right and here is 9 players that most would be happy with.

Coples
Ingram
Brockers
Poe
Cox
DeCastro
Barron
Mercilus
Upshaw

BOOO-YAAAS!!!
Nice list. But if you're taking 9 not on his list then Claiborne is in!

Technically we are picking 1st.. If anyone selects a player ahead of us, we have first right of refusal..it comes w the territory

QB Luck, QB RG3, the best CB Claiborne, the best OT Kalil, the top rated RB Richardson and the top rated WR Blackman should all be gone top 10.

That's 6.

Technically since the Cowboys don't need a QB, an OT, a RB or a WR and doesn't have a shot a Claiborne, you could say Dallas picks 8th Overall.

There will be a very good pick waiting at 14.

Can't Wait!

What all the free agency signings the Cowboys made did for the franchise is allow them to go BPA with every draft choice. I honestly believe they will pick DeCastro if he is there at #14.

i seriously doubt Richardson falls to 14th, and if he did it would be hard to pass on him, im more worried about someone taking Tannehill before our pick which drops another player to us.

If you stick with the BPA strategy, we pick 14th, no matter how you justify need picks.

If the 13 teams above us all REACH and select 2nd rounders...then TECHNICALLY we pick 1st. So do we go for Andrew Luck? :laugh2:

If richardson does fall to 14 then i hope a team desperate for playmakers, like the browns, call to trade. Would like to have there picks at 22 and 37

Exactly. Need is irrelevant. I'm sure our scouts we'll have Andrew Luck the #1 player on the board regardless of what our need at the position is right now.

Og! The guy has a point the Colts will pick Luck and the Commanders will pick RG3 . Why do you guys have to nitpick every little thing? This is ridiclous!

You can look at any way you want it. I just want the draft to get here !!! Can't wait to see what we are going to do.

I have no idea if Miami even likes Tannehill (several teams do not) enough to take him that early, but they seem to be the logical choice unless they actually like Alex Smith better. There is a real chance they don't peven want Tannehill though.

Flynn to Seattle has changed a few things.
