Teddy Bridgewater just went down - Torn ACL

Dak leading the Cowboys to the Super Bowl would just add more fuel to those who've accused Romo of being a choker. To have Dak do as a rookie with a team that was 4-12 the previous year would not be good for Romo's legacy.

Yeah.....that ain't happening. Do you really think Dak is going to do what no rookie has done in NFL history?

If he's your QB the whole year, I'm guessing 6-10.

Think they're better off with Shaun Hill than we are with Dak Prescott?

Of course I don't think he's going to lead us to the Super Bowl this year, he doesn't have the defense to give him the chance. I'm just having some fun. Lol I'm too much of a realist to seriously think he could lead this team to the Super Bowl.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dak plays all season. And 6-10 is about what I would expect too.

We want him standing and watching and learning from Romo for two years. That would be best for him and the Cowboys. That is his route to possibly becoming an elite QB one day.

He'll grow more, and faster, if he just watches and learns from Romo.

Marino went to the Super Bowl as a rookie, lost, and never returned. That's as close as any QB has gotten.

He went in his second season - 1984. As a rookie, the Dolphins lost a home divisional round game to the Seahawks.

Closest a rookie has come was Ben Roethlisberger in 2004 - lost in the AFC Championship game to the Patriots.

Just don't watch Romo right now. He's scooting around slowly wearing a back brace.

That would be the best for him but I doubt Romo is going to be around two more years. We've seen plenty of QBs become elite playing as rookies but it takes great coaching and a complete team. The coaching is going to have to improve and the defense is going to have to get a lot better for Dak to reach the potential he's shown.

One more, Mark Sanchez went his rookie year and the next to AFC title game.

Joe Flacco in 08 led Baltimore to the AFC title game as a rookie. You have Flacco, Sanchez and Rothlisberger that have appeared in title games as rookies.
