Terrance Williams: Ezekiel Elliott a 'real-life monster'

The scary thing is that we could have lost Dak and Zeke if we traded back with BAL

Rumor is they wanted Zeke at 4 and they took Kenny Dixon with a 4th rd comp one spot before we took Dak....if they already had Zeke they might have taken Dak instead of Dixon..... I just threw up a little in my mouth

We might have went Deforest Buckner, Derrick Henry and Cardale Jones instead of Zeke, JSmith and Dak

If they'd taken Zeke and we'd taken Dixon, we'd be talking about how we got a steal in finding the NFL's leading rusher in the 4th round and hit on the QB early (this is, if Wentz had fallen). I'm happier the way it worked out, because of Dak's temperament and because Zeke's fits really well with the Cowboy Way for us offensively, but it might not have ended up being all that different an outcome.

Wentz didn't fall and Dixon is no Elliott.....we could've lost Dak and Zeke for a 4th round pick

Sometimes the best deals are the one you don't make

Sometimes they are. I"d have been pretty happy with a number of the backs from this draft, and don't think Elliott is the only one who'd be leading the NFL right now. Though I do love Elliott's ability and his pass blocking and his fire on game days. I'd have been perfectly happy getting a defender, some picks, a RB later, and then still getting Dak in the 4th. Dak's the one that's really lightening in a bottle, anyway.

I'm not going to try to sell you on Elliott over some name-less defenders....if you can't acknowledge his impact by now you never will
