Just looking at some of these threads I think this place has become sad and full of fake cowboy fans who cheer for the Eagles I mean I can go to three threads on Prescott just talking up the Eagles don't say well you have to get props where props is due no you're in the wrong place if you want to talk down our players and talk up other players you need to go to their support pages move on go away because it's obvious you're an Eagles fan lots of you have switched sides in stealth mode..

I find it ironic that even Eagles fans and some of the league were giving up on jalen hurts his first two seasons saying he wasn't gonna be able to get it done..

GM loads that team up with an insane amount of talent he has a little bit of success because he plays in the Superbowl all of a sudden he's the best quarterback in the league or an NFC what's changed oh must have been the fact that they made sure he had every possible benefit in year 3 and now we're comparing him to Prescott 's entire career,

especially going look back at last year hey Eagles fans and Prescott haters instead of loading up guess what the GM of our team did got rid of Connor Williams, Lionel Collins, jarwin, Cedric Wilson Turner, and amari Cooper and we rolled out to start the year with Noah brown as the number two wide receiver we also didn't have gallop for the first month and when he comes back he was shell of himself playing like he was a fourth string guy...

I mean exactly at what point during the season when our offensive line was getting shuffled and we end up having our defense lose two or three players and they were blowing leads giving up a lot of points and Prescott comes back from a broken hand and was lighting up the scoreboards and doing all he can and all we can talk about is his failure against the 49ers or his ints.

Right, so jalen hurts all of a sudden is a different quarterback in year 3 and now he's one of the top quarterbacks in the league even though all this nonsense and the stats and the cherry picking daks..

I mean it's only took for last year of course because Prescott had an off year with injuries and the team not being solidified most of the year and especially not along the offensive line in the run game and the coaching in the playoffs against the 49ers which had one of the top defenses in the league..

Oh wait that's right jalen hurts got the play the giants and a fourth string quarterback with a beat up San Francisco team ,right he was just awesome.. I'm not taking anything away from jalen hurts but the narrative changed all of a sudden this first two years he goes fans were giving up on the guy the media was talking about he might not be it and then the only thing that changed is they loaded them up with talent white Prescott's team took all his talent away and he still got to the second round and we only lost by 1 score.

Hurts had a really good year, the OC and staff also 100% gave him the best situation to flourish under, but he did make the plays... gotta give him that.

I'm not discounting that I'm saying that guys are overrating hurts while they're underrating Prescott to make their narrative there were underlying context and issues that Prescott had to get through last year why his numbers went down or up if you look at the intersections we all know this I'm just saying the team we faced in the 49ers were not the team that hurts played in the playoffs I didn't say Hertz was a bad player but I'm tired of them making him look way better while they're trying to put Prescott down to a level to make their narratives work.

This is kind of like the media doing all these preseason projections and they have Justin fields making the same leap that hurts did just because jalen hurts did it so they're already saying he's gonna be a top five quarterback this year as opposed to what he's been that may be possible but why are we always knocking Prescott out of the top ten and putting guys who have done less on projections only that's why I hate rankings and some of these debates that get out of control.

yes, jalen hurts and the Eagles are the Cowboys primary competition in the east right now, I don't care how much they're talking up the giants or the Commanders or the rest of the NFC... So, I get why we're talking about it but I'm just trying to make a point that some guys are going out of their way to act like jalen hurts is on the cusp of being Patrick Mahomes and that Prescott is Quincy Carter, I'm sick of that just I am.

And this is coming from a Tony Romo fan who struggled at the beginning to accept Prescott and now I'm here trying to defend the guy much like I was defending Tony Romo both of by the way way too harsh of criticisms for players who turned out to be very good for where they were taken and yet are blamed for every one of our failures.

I mean the guy played on the biggest stage in college and flourished at 2 different universities so he isnt chopped liver. They have a damn good front office over there and I am a bit jeaous. No one should be shocked if he performs better than our 4th rounder. He has done well though and no one can take that from him

they had the best OL in football. top 3 WR group. top 5 TE. top 3 running game. top 5 defense, with probably a top 3 DL. I mean seriously!

I think Hurts had a good year, i also think he was asked to throw the ball the least of any QB who started 15 games besides Justin Fields and Jacoby B.. he had a good year, he did not throw them into anything though thats just a myth.
He was top 10 in passing yards, 13th in completions, 16th in attempts, 7th in completions of 20-plus yards and 5th in completions of 40-plus yards. His yards per attempt (8) was higher than any other regular starter but two. He had a very good year as a passing quarterback and better than Dak's, which was my only point of contention in this thread. He had not been better than Dak previously as a passer, but he was last year. Don't know why that is so hard to accept.

Fans go too far to make a point either way. The only point that is accurate is that Hurts was a better QB than Dak was last year. That doesn't mean that he has ever been a better passer than Dak before or that he ever will again. There were clear reasons why both ended up having the seasons that they did.

I do not understand why it is so difficult for some to admit that Hurts was better. The evidence is empirical. The only reason not to accept it is because those who bad-mouth Dak are insufferable. But it makes those who defend Dak look bad when they won't admit something that is factually undeniable. If they want to say that Dak has had the better career so far, that's certainly accurate. They want to say he was better two years ago, that's also accurate. But last year, the bottom line is that Hurts was better.

I feel the same as i said he had a good year, he also was asked to pass LESS than every other QB who played 15 games or more not named Justin Fields or Jacoby Brisett. The eagles ran the ball alot which lead to Hurts passing less than every other QB (who played at least 15 games) other than Fields and Jacoby...again were the eagles a running team or a passing team? I completley agree he made the plays he was asked to make, never questioned it.

Apparently Terrence Williams is looking for a new gig. He’ll be breaking down our offense pretty soon.

I just watched a rerun of the super bowl last year and the Chiefs took away the read option and Jalen made some fantastic throws with great ball placement.
He had a great game. Made great throws all year. I just don’t know if that’s a one time thing or if this is him.
