Terrible Terrance Williams

I realize Cassel threw a couple bad passes, but Williams didn't help him out at all.

Williams telegraphed his break so badly on the TD pick that Rogers-Cromartie was already breaking to the ball when Williams was pitter patting his feet 10 times. Then his break was just as lazy, never getting to the spot. Even if he was wide open, he wouldn't have gotten to the ball in time.

Then on the "punt" that Cassel threw up into the stratosphere, all Williams had to do was let the corner run over him as he turned around and realized he ball was short. He could have gotten a pass interference pretty easily. Instead, he steps out of the way so the corner doesn't hit him as the safety picks the pass.

There's absolutely no way you can blame Williams for the "punt". That was one of the worst down field passes I have ever seen.

I'm ready to move on from T-Wil. His bad plays negate his good plays and what you end up with is..........zero.

Doesn't have good hands. Doesn't run good routes. Doesn't have elite speed. One big 'Meh'.

Unfortunately I think he stays until his rookie contract is up. Which is for another season or two.

T-Will isn't terrible; he is just not great.

It's amazing how great a lot of players look when they have all-world players (Romo and Dez) around them.

BTW, kudos to McFadden, he ran well against a tough defense. Too bad the passing game could not compliment his contribution.

TWill, Cole Beasley, Street they are all garbage! Our coaching staff sucks and we can't coach nothing.

I agree with you on your first observation. On the second, I think people underestimate how difficult it is to change directions like that. You're not only running fast and stopping hard, but you have to judge the ball in the air.
It's just not as easy to do as fans think. TWilliams was open; Cassel just missed him. It happens.

Yes, I thought Williams was awful. His routes are bad. If the play has broken down and has a QB that can make a play, he's OK.

I didn't have a problem with how Williams played. The first pick was a bad route, but receivers are going to run those at times. I think the decision by Cassel was not a good one and DRC made a heckuva play.

Williams was open on the 'punt' pick. We complain that Williams doesn't get separation deep...well, he had it there and the throw wasn't even close. Williams did go back for the ball and got whacked by the defenders arm (totally legal) and that impeded his progress back to the ball. It was just a horrendous throw.

I have not been high on Williams during the Weeden era (and was never that high on him to begin with). But, I didn't see him as a problem yesterday.
